Studied at:University of life. Hello, everyone has to go through life not just you. Ok, you didn't get educated and have a chip on your shoulder over this thus attempting to justify this by somehow believing you somewhat learned something by day to day living. Truth is: every single person in society has to adjust to social demands i.e the University of Life. I don't know any street corner who has lecturers hanging out demonstrating the pros and cons of various life choices. In other words, you are not educated and you need to face this besides using some kind of inane metaphor to otherwise endear your time to us.
But don't you know that these people are the only ones who know what it's like 'in the real world'.

People who think pets are nothing. One of my dogs is unwell at the moment, I think it's actually something quite serious. I posted on facebook looking for a bit of advice, as I have a few friends that work in dog rescue and one that runs a kennel so would know a bit about this sort of thing, one of my "friends" replied "I misread your post and thought this was something serious, wait until you have kids and you'll know all about worry". ARE YOU FOR REAL ARSEFACE???

People who pretend to be above it all. Like, those who say something like 'Sorry, who is Justin Bieber? Is he an actor?' or 'I don't do Bookface, I can't be bothered facetagging'. 'I must be old, I've never heard of this band called one direction.'

I don't mind people who haven't heard of a trend/singer/whatever because obviously there is a rake of stuff going on, but its the people who deliberately act like they haven't heard of something and make out that they're above such trivial things.

    'I don't do Facebook' is the new 'I don't have a TV'

I ended up just deleting the post as it was starting to generate a bit of a rage from other people giving out to the person and I didn't want to deal with the fall out from that.

To me, thats what the unfriend button is for. I feel like typing the same when I log on and am greeted with a dreary newsfeed about all the latest "milestones" that their progeny have reached. Who. Gives. A. Fuuck.? Not meeeeeee. OMG you pro-created? And then wrote about it on facebook? wow....

Pets and babies are all demanding little food-to-sh1t converters but at least the former are cute :pac:

Road rage (although arguably not trivial if one considers that it can lead to one being essentially hosed down off the road). I was driving to the airport to collect my parents at the weekend. Some fuucking ars*hole decided to speed up on my inside and stand on his horn (presumably because I was doing 70 in an 80 zone - turns out they are actually speed goals, not limits). Being in control of a large vehicle, in traffic, with precious cargo inside (my own life, my OH and my dog) I didn't react to him. Not content with this, he then proceeded into the lane to my right and actually slowed his vehicle so that I caught up with him and started standing on his horn again. I ignored him a second time as I'm not going to get into a fuucking tooting match while driving but seriously? What is wrong with people that as soon as they get behind a wheel they become monsters? Do they not realise how dangerous road rage can be? And then learners are blamed for fatalities? Clearly the fact that I didnt react to him the first time annoyed him even more. Seems he was actually looking for a screaming match :/

    fuucking tooting match haha

I was driving in the UK a few weeks back. I'm in the middle of three lanes going past a truck. A fella was up my arrse but he couldn't pass out because of cars overtaking us. He went past me and tooted and give me the finger the poor stupid bastard not realising that it's not my fault he couldn't change lane because he was being overtaken.

I've seriously considered keeping a toy handgun in the glove compartment and fishing it out someday just to see the look on some knobjockey's face.

People tootling along in the middle lane instead of the driving lane drives me insane. If you aren't overtaking, move over. Especially if they're not even doing the speed limit

People who don't pick up after their dogs. There seems to be an epidemic of dog ****e all over footpaths.
    ****ing rank

Oh jesus I saw the most ridiculous thing a few days ago. A small white plastic bag on the path. Neatly packaged. With poo inside.

So someone had the foresight to bring a plastic bag with them, waited for their dog to poo, scooped it up like a responsible citizen. AND THEN LEFT IT ON THE PATH FOR MAMMY TO PICK UP.

On that note, people who clearly think their mammy is still picking up after them. For example, there's a desk in work that only three of us use. I like to keep things organised as I go - if a piece of rubbish is in my hand, I automatically put it in the bin just under the desk. Other people don't clean as they go, and that's fine, but they also don't clean afterwards. People that have a piece of rubbish in their hands and their immediate thought is to throw it to the side of the desk, and then just leave it there. Why? WHY? Who do they think is picking this up after them? It's me, of course, and giving the place a quick sweep and throwing random rubbish in the bin doesn't bother me, but I just can't understand their thinking. It's not taking advantage of me either, it's like they genuinely don't realise that the dirt doesn't shift itself.

People who go to the swimming pool at the gym at particularly busy times and then just stand in the pool chatting instead of swimming, getting in the way of swimmers who are already jostling for space. Why can't they sit in the jacuzzi or steam room or even the coffee shop if they just want a chat?

It also really annoys me when the changing room is half empty and someone decides to plonk themselves right beside you to get changed. A bit or privacy please!!

Sounds like the middle lane to me. Not justifying what the guy in the story did at all but fcuking hell one thing that's hugs the shyte out of me if people who don't understand how lanes on a dual carriageway/motorway work.

The rust on my shaving gel/foam can. Even after a few days it looks terrible and creates a sloppy look around my bathroon sink. What am I supposed to do, dry the can every time I shave? Ahhhh!!!

This annoys me too! No matter what brand I buy the bottom of the can always get rusty and makes a rusty circle in the shower. I keep it out of the shower now but when I get in to shave my legs I always forget to take the gel with me. ALWAYS! The nerves! But I like having smooth legs...

No I wasn't in the wrong lane but even if I had been, do you think that justifies actually following someone and beeping at them for an extended period? You do realise that horns are for sounding an alarm, not to intimidate other drivers/vent your pent up anger at other road users in a hostile manner??

I agree completely. Even when you do encounter some looderamawn in the wrong lane, or whatever, there is no excuse whatsoever for acting like some sort of head-case. Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of it about lately.

Were you in the middle lane where the left lane wasn't being used for an exit? Cos if you were, that's the wrong lane

No, I'm not justifying him following you beeping at all
Esp if he was using a marked exit lane or hard shoulder or aux lane

Women putting their handbags on tables in coffee places/restaurants (or kitchen tables or worse counters).
The handbags would be usually placed in all sorts of places, e.g. dirty floors (or any floors) out- and indoors, back seats of cars etc. And you think it's ok to place on a table!? Yuck. Just leave it on the floor, hang it on the chair or get a handbag hook!

Agree. Driving standards definitely seem to be getting worse. Between the road rage and bad manners, not to mention the perspective as a pedestrian - more often than not I find I have to wait a couple of seconds after the green man appears to allow all the loonies speed across the pedestrian crossing, having clearly gone through on the red. There seems to be a new law now that says 3 cars are allowed to go through really really fast after the red light show  Oh and then there is getting stick from drivers behind when you dont break a red to make a right hand turn. How dare you you wait for the filter arrow. Actually, I think driving/pedestrian/cyclist annoyances should have their own thread :p

Talking of motorways it drives me mad on the M50 when people don't want to join an exit queue and just drive up to the top and sit there with their indicator on, stopping traffic in the driving lane from being able to move and forcing people to start indicating and trying to overtake. Really dangerous thing to do.

Loads hopefully, if its the fuuckers bullying other people and endangering lives for not moving fast enough ;) I mean, have you seen the speeds those Lidl trollies can reach...
