I was just watching Animal Cops Miami and there was some on there.. Not intentionally trying to change the topic, just a thought it had.

This was an oral surgeon. The real fun bleeding didn't start until i was home. Then I had to call off work with blood dripping out my mouth

I had a tooth pulled last year... it was epically painful because a piece of my jaw bone came out with it and was stuck into my cheek for days. painful beyond belief

Fun fact: I've never been to a dentist. I should probably do that at some stage though.

    Hi lair!

I hadnt been either until june.. And then again in september to get all four wisdom teeth out. No excessive pain thankfully!

My mam had a wisdom tooth pulled and it sounded like the worst thing ever, so that's kinda put me off since.

I'm sure dentists are grand really though.

I'm going to be a lot of dentists over the next few years. Well, periodontists. :(
Last time I was there was last week. And the week before. And next week... :o

Oh really? But you're modding the Japanese forum, what gives?

How much do you know so far?

    They're for (dental) implants. :(

I just have a big interest in Japan, the language and the culture. Learning Japanese has been on my to do list for a while now so I will eventually do it. Just hard to find the time!

I can count, ask for basic directions/things. Enough to kinda get by if I was on holidays there. Which hopefully will be happening this year if all goes to plan!

Imagine someone driving a drill into your tooth and vacuuming the tiny fragments away, then stitching the new hole in your gumline shut

Bottle of whiskey, tie string around the affected tooth,

Tie other end of string to door know, knock back whiskey, slam door.

    No need for dentist,

Not when the tooth is impacted

Trying to brush up and study hard on my own, currently trying to learn the katakana after more or less getting the hiragana down.

You'll have a blast over there! I hope to go again sometime in the near future :D

Do you think I could just get the novacaine/laughing gas and not have a procedure done?

Good luck, it's not the easiest thing to do, learn a language on your own!

Oh nice! When did you go?

probably not, unless you know a certain type of person who has access to medical supplies

Annoyed with my brother. I waited up until now for him, my mam is waiting up now. He constantly does this, goes out and doesn't bring a key which means someone has to wait up and it's usally me. I couldn't stay awake any longer. I'm wrecked. :(

We always used to leave the key in the letter box for me, or in a flower or something (lost my key when i was in JC and never bothered to get another one cut!)

    I love Tim Minchin!
