    And attention.

I start 2 threads in 3 days and I am a troll and an attention seeker?
    Is that how it works?

Unfortunately, kinda..... But in fairness no one here actually knows you so whose to say you dont want to boot the extra weight out the door after the betting slips? Ill believe ya mysel but cant offer any diet advice Im afraid. I eat like a horse. Someone worked out my food intake at something like 4,500 calories and there not all healthy either , Im just lucky enough to have a high metabolism and demanding job. I know I had better change it later in life though

I was diagnosed a celiac during the summer and I've lost a stone purely by cutting down on bad bread.

Ahh, I'd love to be rich, one of the first things I'd do is book myself in for liposuction, screw anyone who says it's lazy, instant weight loss would be marvelous and you wouldn't have to cut out carbs. Never annoy a woman whose off her carbs, never.

Hey OP, increase your bread intake. Have 8 pasta sandwiches a day, and wash them down with a tasty glass of melted cheese.

Your body just gets used to it after a while, accepts it's fate, and then you get slim and toned (probably).

That does sound disgustingly desirable for some reason.

I just realised I need to lose weight. I sat on the kitchen chair and broke it. Ok I knew my trousers were getting tighter but hey...they might have shrunk in the tumble drier.

What made any of you former tubbies out there (no offence meant) finally decide to shift the weight?

Invest in some decent hardcore porno mags and then go on a serious ****-a-thon. That should burn off the calories.

Re the weight, you can always donate blood.

Re the chair - was it this one ?

    http://www.fastcodesign.com/1672050/the-drm-chair-self-destructs-after-8-sittings
But I never realized just how absurd the idea of DRM was until a small team of inventors built it into something else: The DRM chair is a seat that self-destructs once it’s been sat upon eight times.

I am at a crossroads in my life. I am taking stock of what I want to change. Not trolling, not attention seeking.
(Also the kitchen chair actually broke when I sat on it:eek:)

you just need to ask yourself a simple question about all the food you're about to eat:

    "is it delicious?"

If the answer is "yes" - don't eat it.

Ahh I'm not mrs carraig, serious answer to question, buy that flora crap instead of real butter and you won't be going for the bread half as quick ,trust me :)

There is a charity that does a weight loss thingy, the charity is voluntary and money buys equipment for hospitals, good incentive.

Being asked "When are you due?" pretty much did it for me.

Although the look on their face when I informed them that I wasn't pregnant was priceless! :D

I know a girl this happened to several times. She derived such glee from mortifying the person who asked her and really embarrassed them. Then I informed her, although socially awkward, they really weren't drawing the short straw in the situation.

    Eat:
    Chicken, steak, eggs and fish
    eat vegetables, plenty of greens
    eat fruit
    eat nuts (unprocessed) and seeds
    drink water ~ 8 glasses a day
drink milk semi-skimmed prefferable, cocanut milk and almond milk may be alternatives.
    cook with olive oil
reduce bread, chocolate, crisps, take aways
keep track of what you eat, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/< you can sign in using faecbook, or register. Take a good look at your sugar, fat and fibre intake. I have been very freaked out of late taking the time to read how much sugar is in food. As soon as you add in a few days worth of food, it will have everything in your day to day regular diet and you just tick a box and add in the weight

exercise. Be more active, try to aim for at the very least 3 hours a week. Myfitnesspal is a very handy way to keep track of this also. Find something you enjoy. I do treadmill, small amount of weights, circuits, some boxercise type stuff, yoga & pilates. Every week is a mix of these to prevent repetition, becoming bored. I use the sauna most days to stop aches, but you can lose a little weight with regular use drinking plenty of water.

Loads of advice better than mine on the health & fitness forum

I eat a sliced pan of white bread most days (21 slices though I often throw the last one to the birds) and my weight bounces around between about ten and a half and eleven and a half stone. I'm a 6'2, 32 year old man. My metabolism has annoyed any number of people over the years. :)

A whole sliced pan? What is your poo like? I bet it's weird. That is an impressive amount of bread consumption.

..and pulses. I eat a lot of chickpeas, beans and lentils. Really fill you up, cheap and nutritious. Make you fart like a fog horn though, so be careful.
