    Warm downs !

They are not warm downs, they are cool downs.
You warm-up before you start and you cool-down afterwards.
    You don't cool-up and warm-down.
    GEt it right.

What's worse is that those GFB songs get inside your head and you can't get them out.

You need to have a "go to song" handy that banishes GFBrooks, MFBuble and their ilk from your brain. Sugar Man by Rodriguez is a good one.

on the scale of musical cretinism, buble is a lot further down the list than Brooks. That buble is just a talentless Harry Connick Jnr. wannabe

Thinking I've escaped my annual winter head cold/bug only to wake up this morning feeling the full force of a mucus clogged head and stiff joints.

Stupid features in apps: my new healthmate app has widgets for tracking exercise (great), BMI/Lean%/Weight (perfect for me), HR/Blood Pressure (again good) and distance covered (good). And height..... (not elevation, actual height) .....a widget for tracking height. If I sense a sudden change in my height I suspect the last thing I'll want to be doing is verifying it in a 'king app. 'ks sake.

As my mother pointed out the other day "there is an app for everything now", she has nt clue what an app is God Bless her.

Just held my nose and booked family holiday flights. Became clear that it was significantly cheaper (as well as more convenient) to head out with one airline and fly back with another. $%^&* ch's charged me more for the flight that I paid for in Euro than was quoted in sterling (yes, actual price, not just the numbers).

Actually, I've noticed this before and it's usually the other way around IME.

Oh, and the baggage charge. €45 per bag per flight! %^&*(

The one and only time in your entire life you hope for a Man Un*t*d win and they deliberately miss all their penalties!

(had to decide whether this is a rant or a rave :D)

I say 'cool down'. But actually 'warm down' makes more sense that 'cool up' - saying 'cool up' sounds like you'd be turning up your 'cool' and getting colder, not warmer, whereas 'warm down' at least sounds like you're turning down your 'warm' and getting cooler, which is the intention. :)

Big F off cars that park so far in on the path you're forced to run on the road.

Although was tempted to do a 'Starsky' (or was it Hutch) and just clamber over the roof and down the other side.

don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an insult :) While I have many many sock puppet accounts that I use for voting for myself for certain awards or thanking my own posts, I can confirm that newbygirl is not one of them. I can confirm though, that ososlo is my sister and I'm also coaching her.

Back to ranting. Fooking nipples, certain religions circumcise men's penises at birth. I think nipples should be completely removed from males at birth, particularly those who may go onto run. When I run for election in the future it will be one of the main reforms I'll be suggesting for the HSE. Forgot to apply bodyglide today and am in ribbons now. The pain I had to endure wasn't as bad as manflu but definitely worse than childbirth.

Friggin delivery cowboys are a pain: no tracking for my shoes from sportsshoes.com dispatched on the 7th, couple of suspicious phone calls from delivery man on my phone, who does not answer back.

Real pain running on crap shoes for the past 3 weeks ...

To believe is to know you believe, and to know you believe is not to believe.
