It's slowly morphed to Punk vs The Authority and struggles between Orton and The Authority.

Bryan isn't in the Main Event anymore so HHH no longer has a problem with him, remember they see him as a B+ Star but not the face of the WWE. That's how it all began in the first place.

Shame has it had more potential and was much more interesting

Daniel Bryan deserves better than a Bray Wyatt feud for WM

Roman Reigns for most eliminations at 6/4 is a good bet value wise and would be some craic to cheer on.

Reading the internet spoils the whole CM Punk is #1 therefore winning thing as his contract is up again Summer of Punk style this year. His last show is apparently Payback in Chicago.

Can see him walking tbh. His attitude in the last year or so strikes me as someone who is pretty much done with wrestling.

I think he's more likely to leave if he does win tbh. Nothing else to do then.

I'm expecting the Bryan Wyatt feud to end at the Rumble leaving him open for a fresh feud for WM. What the current plan for Bryan is anyone's guess.

The WWE seem set on showing Big Dave on us and Lesnar as well.

It's typical of Bryan's booking, he's over as feck, one week he's booked amazing and the next he's booked as an almost lower mid-carder. The mind boggles.

I just don't get why they couldn't have wrapped up the Bryan/Wyatt feud in the Royal Rumble match.

I won't take Paddy Power as conformation that Bryan won't be in the Rumble. They have 10 spots to fill and not to many big names left in the back room.

The way Bryan worded his promo on Raw suggests he won't be in the Rumble match.Could be a swerve but I highly doubt it.

As it stands right now, Batista is going to win the Royal Rumble. It's at least possible that CM Punk lasts all the way until the end before some Authority related shenanigans lead to his getting ousted, pushing two separate storylines along: Punk leading to his match with Triple H at WrestleMania 30 and Randy Orton getting even more paranoid thinking The Authority assisted Batista's victory.
Sheamus is not currently scheduled to return in the Rumble match, though it's still possible WWE is just keeping a tight lid on the plans for him. There will need to be a legitimate threat to win the Rumble match outside of Batista and Sheamus could be used in that role as a late entrant who isn't asked to do much.
For those hoping he would pull double duty, it doesn't look like Daniel Bryan will be entering the Royal Rumble.
Bryan is scheduled to team with John Cena to work some 2-on-3 handicap matches following the Rumble event. That seems to indicate Randy Orton will win the WWE world heavyweight championship match and go on to feud with Batista over the title.

End of 08 and the middle of 09, the interim being the period he was out injured.

Orton Vs Batista - the main event of WM 30?

Shaping up to be the 2nd year in a row where we will have the most obvious possible Rumble winner go into the main event for a match that will inevitably be a huge let-down.

Don't mind Batista winning.Fresh match whoever he faces. They were hardly going to do Bryan vs Orton or Cena again at Mania after he feuded with both in 2013.

Also actually had to think for a second for who won last year.

Bryan is on Paddy Power now at 7/2. Not sure if those odds are as damning as not being listed to him appearing. That'd be a fairly sizeable price for him.

Thinking out loud here but when was the last time WM had a interesting and gripping main event? Rock vs. Cena did not exactly rock the socks off people and I can't even recall the once before that.

It's gas that people are moaning about predictability. For the last month it was so so predictable that Daniel Bryan was wining from the number one spot. So predictable.

Now Batista is the so called lock to win it.

Bryan to win from a late entry spot, possibly taking out Harper or Rowan and stealing their spot.

I've seen this a few times and it makes zero sense. If Bryan takes out either of them, he doesn't move on to a title feud. He continues to feud with the Wyatt's until Wrestlemania. Best case scenario for Bryan is destroying Wyatt, not entering the Rumble and entering the title picture again after winning a feud at Wrestlemania. If he touches Harper or Rowan, that's him until Wrestlemania at least.

If Bryan wins the rumble he'll meet something to do until the champion is decided at elimination chamber. Could just be another few weeks with the wyatts. This is all based on my naive hope he'll win the rumble.

I think too many people are getting their hopes up about having Bryan in the Rumble match, I just don't see it happening.

As gnfnrhead, best case senario is for him to enter a feud until Mania/Extreme Rules and then back into the Title Hunt for the Summer.

Wonder who'll have the shortest and longest times in the Rumble this year. Think it was Godfather and Cody respectively last year

    Punk longest.

    Axel shortest.

But Wrestlemania is the pinnacle of all his year's work. This is what has all supposedly been building towards. I will very much resent Batista if he does win the Rumble now and gos onto Mania and I think that will be common enough. Bryan deserves it. Batista does not.

What odds is Punk to win it.?? After watching Raw and seeing that he is entering at No.1 its making me think he could win it. Can it be that obvious he could win entering at number 1.He doesn't have it on his CV. Bastia could feud with ADR/Lesner. Was HBK the last to do this in 95-96 I think.

    Top 3 for me is

    Punk
    Bryan
    Roman Regins

My pick. Longest Punk. Shortest - Ryback/Axel(maybe entering at 2) :D

I want Punk to win it, but it's possible that Kane/nao/authority will interfere to get him eliminated.

I think there is a definite possibility that Punk could win it to further his anti-authority storyline.

But there is a much bigger chance that he'll be eliminated to further it and Batista will win instead.

Ideal scenario, number 30. Daniel Bryan. Winner alright.

Not so surprise entrants - Bryan, Sheamus, Ziggler, RVD, The New Age outlaws

Surprise entrants: Steve Blackman, The Godfather, Kane, Nash

Surprise non-entrants: Jake The Snake (for some reason I dont think they will want him in the messy rumble match but gave him his old school plus a potential HOF moment instead)

Lasts longest: CM Punk (eliminated by Kane with the help of outside interference by the New Age outlaws)

Most Eliminations: Roman Reigns (Kane to take the most overall record from HBK)

Hot Favourite: Batista (eliminated in a shock manner ala Maven eliminating Undertaker all those years ago, maybe by ADR this time who Tista will again destroy on the following Raw before heading towards the chamber)

Actual Winner: Yes! Yes! Yes!, motherf*ckin YES! the cword will sh!t on virtually anyone else imo and the rumble should be the main event not Cena vs Orton (especially if heel Orton wins) so the final scene of the night can be the crowd going batsh!t crazy for Bryan on his way to main eventing mania.
