Boosting Wifi From Attic To Rest Of House

Hi i have a huawei wifi dongle 586 and the best signal is in my attic,bunglow. The signal is weak then from there to the rooms so i was woundering if there is somthing i could get to boost the signal around the house or even an uprated dongle router that can send the signal around the house. Has anyone got any info on this?

You would probably be better off using homeplugs and setting up an AP where the signal is weak. Some APs (such as ones with DD-WRT firmware) will allow you to repeat the signal. Obviously this would be slower than using homeplugs.

AP's are designed to send the signal horizontally

with the AP in the attic you need to send the signal vertically , so try changing the orientation of it or the antennas
