I'd tend to lean towards Aguero not starting. City at home to Cardiff is a perfect game to introduce him when most likely your team is a few goals up. Going on City's home form i'd nearly expect the game to be over by half time. Either way i can't see him getting the full 90. He has been out of action a few weeks after all.

And just a random fact about Lukaku. Last time he played on a Monday night was against Newcastle back in September. He got 2 goals and an assist and the 3 BPS. Factor in it's against a previous team of his and i expect nothing less than double his last output on MNF. I can see 4 goals and 2 assists at least.

Do yo not think dzeko has played a lot of football lately though. Since the palace game on dec 28th he has started 6 games in 17 days the newcastle game being the only game where he failed to complete the 90 mins. Negredo on the other hand didnt start the palace game and has been subbed off a few times most importantly last night IMO. Aguero is back training over a week so they arent exactly rushing him back. Negredo and aguero up top would seem the most likely to me.

I think the fact he took Negredo off and left Dzeko on for the 90 said it all. Aguero and Negredo to start and Dzeko on for Aguero after 60 or 70 mins (after he has scored a hat trick :) )

What advice do you need, you must have a lot of money banked as that team has a very low value. Fletcher is a waste of time, Barry less so but despite decent returns of late he's not going to do much scoring or assisting, Ozil is too expensive but that's just my opinion. There are a lot of problems with that team IMO, tell us what you want to do, how many transfers etc, because you have Aguero can we assume you've already made a transfer this week?? etc

Just saw your edit that its wildcard. make many changes, I'll have another look in while when I've time, what is your team value?

Thats it with zero in the bank.

I could change rodriguez to campbell freeing up 1.1 and ozil to lallana freeing up 2.5 leaving 3.7 to reinvest was looking at a 3-4-3 formation?

    Looks like this now

    Boruc Gazzinga

    Azpil Sagna Distin Gabbidon Chester

    Henderson Lallana Hazard Osman Januzaj

    Saurez Aguero Campbell

    ??

Do what you need to do to get Barry and Fletcher out at the very least. As well as that your goalies are a disaster, how long will Jussi remain sidelined??
Ozil seems the most obvious way to free up the cash.

    Balls, lost 0.1 on Podolski..

Now only have 8.0 to buy a new forward unless I take a -4..

Adebayor seems like my only option :)

Unless I activate my wildcard but I don't want to.. :o

OK......I'm looking at taking out Barkley tonight before his drop. I have 9.1m to spend on a MID with a view to his next 2 fixtures (I will be wildcarding after that).

    Current sq:

    Mignolet McGregor

    Terry Coleman Clyne Vlaar Chester

    Ozil Yaya Lallana Sterling Barkley

    Suarez Negredo Giroud

    My options appear to be:

Ramsay (Not 100% to play - Would mean trebling up on Arsenal but not overly worried because of their 2 fixtures).
    Wilshere (Same as above)
Oscar (I currently have no attacking CHE cover)
    Willian (Same as above)
Cabaye (Away to WH and NOR)
Take a punt on Sunderland: Adam Johnson (Home to SOU and STOKE) or Ki
Eriksen (Unattractive fixtures: Away to SWA, home to Man City)

So it's basically 50:50 as to whether or not Aguero will start. I think I'll transfer him in and let Adebayor go. I'm not overly concerned about what Aguero does against Cardiff but I'm afraid of what Adebayor can potentially do against Swansea.

Oops. I'm 0.3 short of Adebayor to Aguero. I don't really want to sell Lukaku this week and I'm not taking a hit to bring Aguero in. Don't know what to do.

I think its more like 80/20 Aguero starts.

Oscar would seem the outstanding choice to me there anyway.

I'm just keeping Negredo this week.

the plsn at the moment is Ramsey/Aguero for Ozil/Negredo next week.

the beast is on a tear and I don't see him being dropped for a league game while it's so tight.

Exactly the same position as yourself, and tempted to even hold on Negredo full-stop with the way he's performing.

Saving this week's transfer anyway to allow for the above.

F**k it, I can't risk not having Aguero if my rival has taken a hit for him. Transfer done, 4 point hit taken. Don't even care if he plays or not now!

That's how I saw things, I may not gain as a result but I definitely won't lose ground due to aguero, and on the plus side even if things don't work out i'll be able to bank his price increase.

Ya he's the front runner right now for sure. I actually had Gerrard in mind until I copped I already have 3 Pool players in the squad.

Do we think Rooney will drop before Saturday?

He's on -43% at the moment on tfpl (-12.3% today)

I see that Ramsay and Arteta have been ruled out of this weekends game, and Rosicky is a doubt. This adds serious weight to the Wilshere option.

Well, hit the WC button and done some transfers... Happy enough but the bench is terrible :)

    Mannone

    Coleman - Mert - Kolorov

    Eriksen - Ozil - Silva - Hazzard

    Sturridge - Aguero - Suarez

    Bench: K.Davis / Chester/Ovideo/Faye

    -

Yes the bench is terrible and I could drop Mert for Kosc which would give me Ward instead of Faye and Noone instead of Ovideo, but chances are I will transfer Ozil out soon to give me some funds!

Or potentially Oxlade as a serious differential. Considering him as a punt until I WC.

You said it yourself, bench is awful. If you're planning a crap bench who will never be in your starting XI, the least you can do is make sure they will get you the 2pts if ever called upon.

A lot of teams will be missing gameweeks in the next few months

True, but I'd personally find it hard to put my faith in a guy who has played 45 mins of ball this season!

Wilshere as it stands is currently a differential due to his low ownership.

To-ing and fro-ing about whether to bring Aguero in this week or on Saturday. The .2 price rise (even a .3 [is that possible by then? I dunno the rules re: pricing]) makes no difference to me, realistically.

I think Chelsea may keep a cleansheet against Utd. Maybe ambitious there, but I want to hold onto Ashley Cole just incase. Have Negredo and I reckon he's good for a goal...but Aguero is looking sharp and will surely play sixty minutes?

    My choices:
Negredo and Cole to Aguero and Chester (I have Hull gk in goal too and don't really wanna double).

Someone choose for me? Ha. :D

Keep negredo and Cole. Negredo is the only cert to start for city and he's in incredible form. Doesn't make sense to take a hit to swap him for aguero when he is likely to out score him. If you're desperate to get aguero into your team you should make a change this week that frees up the funds to buy him next week
