    Good Afternoon Lair Noccers. :)

My shoe-size varies from 7 - 8 in different shoes! Plus I think one foot can't remember which now is half-size bigger than the other!

Have zero interest in Disney / Animation Animated? Movies / Talking-animals. Wasn't really into them as a kid either. I musn't have had a modern-mammy. Facebook Statuses nowadays include sticking the kid in front of the TV for 4 hours and turning on a Movie for them. Shure kids nowadays have portable DVD Players in their cars and the like. No such thing as ISpy anymore or GuessTheColour/CountyoftheNextCar and all those things whilst driving along. Think if I was plonked in front of the TV I would have just played with the Videotapes / DVD's, hiding them, throwing them at a piece of furniture or something. Sitting / Living-room was alien to us anyway, I r of the Playing-Outside era. :D

But gimme a good Die-Hard Movie or one of those any day of the week. :)

    I r hungry. Dinner-time awaits. :)

Found couple more nice places to live. but so expensive. :/ Asked them to reduce Rent but they likely won't. Just keep looking I guess.

How is one and all today?

We were only allowed watch Disney movies on Saturday mornings. Cartoons only until we had our homework done or at weekends. However we were usually outside building forts, catching frog spawn, playing 40 40 or jumping on bales. We had computers too but only allowed them at weekends and holidays.

And every Sunday my parents took us and our friends to places like The Cliffs of Moher, Salt hill, Dublin Zoo, Dublin itself..looking back on it..I had a very privileged childhood! :D

It's sad how kids are just plonked in front of the TV and aren't getting to experience the joys of being a kid. Suppose in this day and age people are too scared to leave their young uns out after hearing all the horror stories of kidnappings and what not :(

I love the area I live in now ESP cos kids still play out on the street here :D
We were rarely in front of the tv as kids. Himself was though, and doesn't see anything wrong with it.
Does my head in when its on for the kiddo first thing in the morning, it's not good!

My mate's fella is like that with their kid. Awesome child but he's brainwashed with Peppa pig. My mate hates her child watching it. Can't say I have ever watched it but she despises the show and doesn't want the child watching it however her fella will just plonk the kid in front of it and leave him watch it to his hearts content.

Hate peppa pig, It's a rotten one. It's usually movies with animals/ David Attenborough/ studio ghibli here!
I don't mind the odd half an hour but using tv as a babysitter does my head in, it's so lazy. It's as easy to throw some paper and a few crayons out, or something.
Lol, the lair just turned into the parenting forum :p

I have my own worries of trying to make more monies. I think I am going to start selling body parts too :P Not my own of course. You know people I don't like :P

I work out petrol usage like so. Get certain amount of petrol (we'll say €20 worth) and before you leave the pump set the odometer back to zero. When you have the €20 burned check the odometer to see how many miles/km you have done.

I've been told a Nissan Micra would be good to start off in. I've found 2 in Laois. One is silver, the other is red and both are 2001, 1.0L. Silver is 3 door and the red is 5 door, not much of a difference. So I'm going to get my other nextdoor neighbour to have a look at them both for me (he's a mechanic). :)

Good car to start out with all right. Fiestas are good too. Good car to start out in, pretty reliable and cheap enough to run :)

They are a good car to start out in and cheap to run. However I am not a fan of them. I find them too weak or something :/

*Bear in mind that I am a bit of a demon for power when it comes to cars* :pac:

Well I think it's settled so.. I don't want anything too powerful. Will have to see if yer man gets back to my neighbour about the '04 Polo. :)

    thanks guys:D

haven't cycled since i was 13...so we'll see how that goes. How's the weather in ireland? Mid to late 20's here during the day time and cooler at night. Not bad:) Took a walk around the place today and went to the beach for a while, had dinner in an Italian place tonight which was good. Made friends with a cat who lives around the place which is lovely...i really love cats:D

xPPx, I've had a Micra and am presently in a Fiesta. My money would go on a Fiesta truth be told. Cheap as chips to run: I get 40 rods to the hogshead.... *awaits people to get the Simpsons reference* I get 2 weeks out of less than a €20 top up (from about half full tank).

They are slightly more expensive. Micras seem a bit cheaper. I'm not sure tbh..
