TLK II isn't as bad as other Disney sequels/prequels. Have you ever seen The Hunchback of Notre Dame sequel? Jesus, it's terrible.

Although, TLK 3... Now that's crap.

Would you believe it, I have never actually watched the Hunchback of Notre Dame :o I always watched the Disney movies with animals in them. Wasn't interested in the movie it didn't have lions, singing cats, Dalmatians, love struck doggies or foxes and hounds :o

I grew up with Disney, and I still love it. I'm in the middle of the classic Disney films at the moment, like Cinderella and Bambi.

My favourite is probably The Lion King. I watched it a lot when I was a kid, but kind of forgot about it. Saw the 3D re-release in 2011, and I adored it.

I haven't seen Frozen yet. It's meant to be brilliant.

aye it is! I love the lion king even though to this day i will still bawl my eyes out when mufasa dies. I have the original soundtrack CD nothing beat roaring out Be Prepared back in those days!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 265 ✭✭Greg M

I'd love to buy the soundtrack sometime. It's class.

Rhythm of the Pride Lands is simply breathtaking, though. If you can, check it out sometime.

The Lion King has special meaning to me and it will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. It's up there with The Dark Knight, Fight Club and Beetlejuice :pac:

Have "The Circle of Life" going full pelt around my head at the moment. Love that song so much!

The Lion King is definitely my favourite animated film. My favourite overall film is either Die Hard or Saving Private Ryan.

Be Prepared is now in my head...

Two movies I haven't seen in a long time either. Die Hard wasn't on over Christmas, disappointed by that :/

I know... Great Christmas film, filled with action, witty lines and an angry German Alan Rickman. Genius.

I am also a huge LOTR fan.

Alan Rickman was brilliant in that movie. Must go see if I have it in the DVD collection.

Haven't watched any of the LOTRs what seems to be like forever :(

    Good Afternoon Lair Noccers. :)

My shoe-size varies from 7 - 8 in different shoes! Plus I think one foot can't remember which now is half-size bigger than the other!

Have zero interest in Disney / Animation Animated? Movies / Talking-animals. Wasn't really into them as a kid either. I musn't have had a modern-mammy. Facebook Statuses nowadays include sticking the kid in front of the TV for 4 hours and turning on a Movie for them. Shure kids nowadays have portable DVD Players in their cars and the like. No such thing as ISpy anymore or GuessTheColour/CountyoftheNextCar and all those things whilst driving along. Think if I was plonked in front of the TV I would have just played with the Videotapes / DVD's, hiding them, throwing them at a piece of furniture or something. Sitting / Living-room was alien to us anyway, I r of the Playing-Outside era. :D

But gimme a good Die-Hard Movie or one of those any day of the week. :)

    I r hungry. Dinner-time awaits. :)

Found couple more nice places to live. but so expensive. :/ Asked them to reduce Rent but they likely won't. Just keep looking I guess.

How is one and all today?

    Afternoon, Confused!

Just had a lovely dinner there. Steak and thick-cut chips... Delicious.
