    Last semester! :D
Then psi exams in October 2015, then something old with a bigger grunt in 2016!:)

I'm the same, had I known pharmacy was going to be what it's been like, I'd have left after two weeks and ran off to economics and finance, something I'm really interested in.

It all better be worth it in the end!:D

nah. see with Arch Tech, the accepted norm is 12-15 hours of work a day and maybe one all nighter a week.

working 8am-7pm, getting a lunch break and getting to sleep at night will be pretty nice :)

being a tech graphics/ woodwork teacher sounds like a tidy number. could see myself enjoying that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

Love it now. Fcuked up college in the early years, eventually decided what I wanted. Had to sacrafice everything, even my car :( I've got work up to April, but then I.m out on my ear.. Beat this, out of bed and into the car in 7 minutes in the morning!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,903 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

what did you study to end up in that job?

its unfortunate because tech graphics and woodwork aren't even things you could nixer doing grinds in... what part of the country are you in?

    What did you do? :)

Keeping things motor related, I got a haynes manual for the saab today, and priced some bonnet lifters.....56 quid, so tis off to kilcock i go! Again!

Are them Haynes manuals any good? I was thinking about getting one of them for the focus I don't know how much use it would be as I've never really got one.

At first I was impressed the remote control interface was so smooth and fast... till I realised this isnt remotely controlled, it was driven (controlled is a more apt word) entirely autonomously, directly by the car itself. Ive always pictured self drive to be the realm of those boring Volvo Train projects (SARTRE); line holding, braking, accelerating. But racing around a track, obstacles, power slide correction and handling unseen hazards like the surface water is pretty wow.

I despise that module with a passion, plus the guy teaching it hasn't a notion of it himself so like we'er all screwed! The most i know a bit about is co planar force systems, and even at that it's a bit iffy!

I got the highest in the class for our last revit project :D

Theres nothing more annoying then getting a lecturer for a module - who hasn't a clue - or isn't great at lecturing

I have particularly memories of having a module in Communication in Business - with a lady who had crap communication skills herself

I call that an epic fail :(

We had the exact same with a communications lecturer. Woefully disorganised and liked to changes to assignments and tests at the last minute.

Just finished re-wiring my dads trailer. The lights and wires were completely fcuked up on it. Working perfect now though replaced the trailer plug too with a new one for good measure :)

I got one for the astra too, they are well worth the money i find, you might not use them often, but from them ive learned the workings of both cars and how to take care of em better

This guy changes his notes daily, sometimes even in the lecture! it's shocking and then he tells us its very simple really, how is it when your making mistakes yourself??
In other news, a light came on in the astra today, a car with a wrench through it, I rang around and its pointing to a busted coilpack :o More fun to be had!

    Still no drivers licence:mad:
I'm flying out next sat, if it doesnt arrive I dunno what I'm going to do!

I was talking to a very nice man on the ndls help line (he sounded vaguely jamican) who put me on hold for several minutes and when he came back he said " I just went down to the processing centre and I can guarantee you its now in process, thats the best I can do"
If he wasn't spinning me a yarn then he's a top bloke!
