Have this app thinking that I'd be able to listen to BBC Radio 4 or whatever at work. Not.
Keeps cutting out after 30-32 seconds every time. Other local radio stations fine but not BBC. Tried different streaming rates as hinted in app. to no avail.
Any ideas how to rectify this please?

I don't usually use tunein, but I tried it now and it seems to work. I'll test it again tomorrow.

There's a 3rd party app specifically for BBC Radio called 'BBC Radio', I'd give that a try as well.

Hi, are you on o2. I had the same problem with BBC Radio and tunein, but only when I was using o2 data. When I used wifi it worked fine.

The app that theothernt linked to works perfectly.

Yeah, on O2, and in wifi it's fine but on Data it cuts out constantly. Must try thr BBC Radio app then, cheers.

I have this issue with o2 as well. If you change the access point in phone settings to open.internet it'll work for you. But then internet sharing stops working.. So you'll have to flip between settings as required. I've raised this with o2 a number of times and i consistently get a response as if i had asked my dog to look into it.

What bit of access point to you change to "open.internet" ?

My internet sharing doesn't work no matter what I do on my O2 520...

you go to Access Point in settings, then click + to create a new profile. Enter open.internet in there. You can choose your own profile name. Then at least its easy enough to switch between them.

do you keep the other settings like proxy etc the same as the existing o2, or leave them blank?

you will only need them if you're still sending / receiving mms messages.. Otherwise don't bother copying them
