I fear a lot of Liverpool fans are going to have excessive amounts of egg on their face in May when United finish ahead of us.

Thought Wisdom had a very good game against Chelsea today. Playing every week is just what he needed, floored Willian early on and rarely looked out of position.

He was fantastic for Derby today. By all accounts he's impressed during his spell there, which bodes well for us

They finished 1st by 11 points last season. There will be no egg if they finish above us.

Such statements are as bad as any arrogance a pool fan shows towards United's situation.

This is going to be a weekly joust where results will be traded, but no-one knows what the end result will be.

Its not like the rivalry started this season.

No, but we shouldn't have short memories, or be claiming petty bragging rights when nothing has actually been won or lost.

That was my point. My Facebook news feed is full of Liverpool fans gloating at United fans, I've been around too long and seen United turn seasons and matches around from seemingly impossible positions to even contemplate getting involved in things like that.

He was pushing forward when Eto broke down his flank in the first half, did brilliantly to make up something like 20/30 yards on Eto and muscle him off the ball

Anyone know if he's played much at centre half for derby this season, or has he been primarily on the flank?

ah relax. Last week it was lolerpool 1st to 5th, this week United getting dumped out of the FA Cup. Trade the jibes while it's possible.

Oh I know what your saying and kind of agree with you on it . They have to have a good patch at some stage . I will say this though . I can honestly say I have enjoyed winding up the glory hunters . On St. Stephens day I had a glory hunter sitting beside me giving it loads when Man City bet us . I turned and asked him . " How does it feel to be cheering on the noisy neighbours , it's st stephens day and your acting like your season is over " He never answered me back .

I know, but I wouldn't be confident that Man U will bite back either like you are. :) Just take things as they come.

Opportunities like these are hard to come by, I have been a supporter since 1976. I am going to work tomorrow armed to the teeth with witty repartee and to the bone comments. Any time is a good time to slag them off.

I know these days don't always last, but next weekend we could have it up our a***s.

Nobody has called them a 'midtable club performing to their level' yet as far as I can see. I make no secret that I hate Man Utd, dislike their fans and would love nothing more than to see them finish outside the top 4. My heart is filled with thick black hater goo as far as they are concerned. Watching them squirm a little is better than nothing anyway whatever the outcome.

Looking at their thread, it is a striking resemblance to this very same thread last year.

Crazy what 1 season can do.

Oh I'm enjoying watching it as well; I just wouldn't be on the wind too much, not yet anyway. :pac:

When the Man Utd fans have stopped tearing lumps out of each other in their own thread and come in here for a look(because they all do) there could be fireworks in here tomorrow.

Quiet an impressive achievement; Moses is even more annoying when you can't see him.

Even if they win the league and Champions League from this position they've still permanently lost that smug "oh, why are you changing manager, you should be like us showing 100% support to our managers like when Fergie was in trouble in his first 3 seasons but we stuck by him coz thats the man united way" attitude.
