    Would the serial no be PA6 GF15 GM 13 107 918

    Found that on the back of the removable panel

    If not I might have to take out radio altogether to get serial no.

    Code cannot be calculated from serial no. You will have to either source code from main Opel dealer or have the radio professionally decoded.

    I had the same issue with a Clio and I rang the dealer that originally supplied the car job done and no charge.

    Dealer or there is guy in Galway on beside Windsor garage who can fix any electric problem with Renault including decoding

    Post the serial number.

    It's repeated 2-3 times on the side of it. The bit I need is in the box in middle of the sticker and is a letter and three numbers.

    I have codegens for some radio brands
    As in ford and Renault. I keep my eyes open for others though.

    I found the serial number for my ford fiesta 2004, battery went dead and I finally replaced it with a new battery! radio code 1 is being requested when I turn on my radio. Serial number is M096213...

    Can anyone help please?

    V Codes aren't generally available, you'll need to contact a main dealer or someone who specialises in repairing car radios.
