Just listening to Ruth and Paddy on 2fm from dublin airport, It seems most people are coming from Australia. An emotional time for many there today. A shame so many had to leave Ireland, although the majority are probably living better lives there.

On a side note, anyone notice Ruth sounds a lot less-culchie these days?:pac:

The music they play is pretty lame alright, and yea they do talk a lot of drivvel/****e. I just tuned in because they are greeting people home, seen as I'm half way across the world myself.

She's always trying to play the Culchie bimbo , and her rambles really betray her complete desperation for a man and a baby/ babies , he is always trying to reinforce the fact that's he's heterosexual at every available opportunity , like we care , the two are very insecure on top of completely annoying with rubbish music .

These two culchies irritate the hell out of me. It's as if they're trying to be extra culchie on the radio so people know.
I also think Ruth wants to get into Paddy's pants; she fawns and laughs at everything he says.

Actually think they work very well together. They seem to have a good rapport and put a bit of effort into the programme...

Is Ruth in her 40s by now ? She must be almost 20 years on 2fm at this stage, although she left for about a year in the early 00s for a brief stint with 98fm.
