Is it the camera or the SD card?

So I've received an early Christmas present of a lovely Canon HS330. This is the second Canon I've had, the first one I had was robbed in a burglary, and with both cameras I've noticed they take their time recording the image, you have to wait a few seconds before taking another picture.

I'm using the same ad card that was in the Nikon and noticed the Nikon does not have this delay. You can just take pictures in quick succession. It's a. Or all SD card, not a high speed one.

So is it the camera or should I get a high speed SD card?

    Thanks in advance.

What's is the writting speed of your current card? It is probably the card problem.

At the very least you should be using a class 4 card.

Fixed this for you. Buy a decent card FFS, they aren't that expensive.
