Anyone in city/area interested in playing Backgammon?

Have been playing Backgammon for a while now, it's a game that is not as popular as it should be (in many ways it's similar to poker). I know that there are a few clubs in Dublin. I was just wondering if there are any players in Galway city that are interested in playing?

A good few years ago, they had a few backgammon sets in McSwiggans bar, and you would often see people playing after work in the evening.
Don't know if they still do it, but you could ask there also.
