With AVB sacked just before Spurs' fixtures open up I'm beginning to think Soldado even more as my Aguero replacement. Obviously dependent on who takes over and whether they'll see him as the main man up-front. Both Mirallas and Lukaku may be over kill if Everton end up having a quieter day here and there.

As I've said, no rushing into things with a full week ahead of us but things to ponder.

    Who did you get?

Got in Negredo for Aguero last night, bit of a gap starting to open in my league languishing in 6th atm and 70 points off 5th but the The top 5 are within reach of each other. Anyone got any ideas where to make up ground?

    Now considering switching to 3-5-2

    Coleman+2 cheap defs
    Hazard Silva Ozil Walcott Yaya
    Lukaku Suarez

Criticism would be that midfield is over reliant on Arsenal and City and there's no United cover. Any thoughts?

I'm bringing Evans in for Koscielny and perhaps Nasri & Rooney in for Aguero & Paulinho for a delicious 8 point hit. There will be hits, just wanna make sure I choose wisely.

I wouldn't bring in Nasri. I have him and Coutinho and I'm very wary of both despite Nasri getting some good returns. Hoping to upgrade to Silva and Walcott over the coming weeks.

Nasri is paying very well at the moment, his form only seems to be improving. Price is only gonna go up!

Negredo a guaranteed starter now that aguero is out, better price than rooney also, just look at the upcoming fixtures and should give ya a better idea.. I have Rooney and Walcott myself!

Thinking of Bringing in Negredo and Silva for this GW - City should give Fulham a good spanking and these two should be heavily involved!!

Then change Silva to Walcott for the Xmas duration..

Went for Rooney - was between him and Negredo but only looked at the next gameweek and with City away and United at home to West Ham - figured that there is a greater potential for a higher return from Rooney....

Pulled the trigger on Rooney/Negredo in for Aguero and Remy. Remy has gotten me a few points this year, but definitely not enough. Cost me 8 points as I needed to change one of my defenders as well, but the way I look at it, it only cost me 4 as two of the players I transferred wouldnt have played anyway

I think i'll be going Rooney & Sterling in for Aguero & Brady.

You'll be climbing the walls now till wednesday night because Rooney has a Carling Cup match!

Would there anything to be said for taking a gamble on Wellback instead of Rooney as a replacement for Aguero?

Rooney was in positions between some of the midfielders a good bit yesterday!

Welbeck is absolutely in no way guaranteed to play. They have many options up top with different combinations.

    Rooney / Welbeck
    Rooney / Hernandez
    Kagawa / Rooney

    Welbeck is an awful idea.

Coming from a United fan, I rate him as our fourth best striker. RVP, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck.

Any love for Rodriguez? I'm contemplating a very strong midfield 4, weighing up strikers under or around 7m.

    Took a risk with Welbeck.

36 points in the lead in my private league. Everyone is going to get Rooney in.

May as well risk it as Hernandez is injured, Welbeck will more than likely play after getting two goals this weekend.

Just my opinion but if you're 36 points a head, don't take risks. Do as they do and you will stay a head of them. Let them take the risks.

The big point hit paid off pretty well last week, so am working on a 4 pointer this week.

Terry and Aguero out, Rooney and Gabbidon in. That'll be about 3.5 m in the bank.

    done rooney in for aguero.

Need a bit of feed back on the next one, my current keepers are the 2 Cardiff lads, marshall who plays and lewis who doesn't.
I've had Lewis since the start as had Mignolet all season and didn't want to get caught rotating keepers like last season.

Is mannone likely to hold his place when westwood comes back? if he is, I think he's perfect for 4.2 as he rotates nicely with marshall.

Although, with both Cardiff keepers, I should never get caught without a keeper, but their next 4 away games are Liverpool, arsenal, city and united. I'd prefer to have someone else to come in for those without spending much.

I'd be looking at a 4 point hit, but giving that marshall is away to Suarez FC this week I reckon he'll get 1 point maximum, whereas mannone is home to Norwich so could get a cs and cancel out the points hit and also then leave me with 2 keepers to choose from in future.

So for all that, I really just want to know if people think mannone has done enough to stay number 1?

    Aguero/Cahill -> Rooney/Evans

This is my revised plan with the Aguero news:

    Rooney > Aguero
    Silva > Amalfitano
    Olsson > Dawson

    -8 hit.

Then I'll consider Walcott for Silva in a week or two.

Dawson serves his suspension midweek in the cup. Handy for me with Kos & Aguero out injured.

Except he seems destined to drop at least 0.1.. It's okay though I can handle another 0.1 drop and still make 0.1 profit on him :D
