Who's your 4.4 mid? TBH one of my next moves will be my other cheap mid that costs 5 mil or so downgraded to a 4.4. If I've 4 in midfield of the calibre of Ozil, Ramsey, Hazard and Silva, my other midfield is going to be used sparingly to say the least.

That said, I might stretch to 4.6 and go with Redmond. He impressed me alot earlier in the season and he is getting decent returns for a player that price at the minute.

Bannan of Palace, one for sporadic use. Redmond is a good shout but every 0.2 counts these days.

I forgot you had Bannan alright. He's another to keep an eye on.

Well the way I'm going I've moves planned for the next three or four gameweeks:

    Terry to Chester/other cheap defender
    Brady/Morrisson to Silva
    Brady/Morrisson to cheaper mid

Things don't always work out that easy though so will be interesting to see if I get those moves through or something else pops up.

I also wouldn't mind changing Mig if the chance comes up. That said, I'm in no major rush to do it and he's home to Cardiff next week. He might drop today but I'm not that pushed once I get what I paid for him when I sell. Who to drop him for though is the question.

Getting Distin in for the Xmas period after Chicos suspension has forced my hand with Terry a bit, too many pricey defenders.
Distin will go as soon as Xmas is done as 2 defenders from the same team makes me uncomfortable but so be it.

I'm the same. Doubling up may work for some but I'm not a fan. Double the pain when a goal is conceded I find it!

It's the reason I'm not interested in Howard at present. I still see Coleman as the best value in that defence.

Quick check there leaves me with this team for 4pt hit nxt week.

    MIG/davies

    Coleman,Distin,Vlaar,Turner,Chester

    Ozil,Ramsey,Hazard,Silva,Bannan

    Lukaku,Suarez,Aguero

    0.1 left in the bank.....

    3 Everton
    2 Arsenal
    2 City
    2 Liverpool

Too much? Doing this may leave me with no actual need for the Jan WC as most of these are season keepers bar Mig and Distin

I'm bringing in Chester, probably tonight or tomorrow morning. It's a 4 point hit but frees up some cash, and the other alternative is to play either Vlaar vs United or Clyne vs Newcastle. And both of those are currently yellow and red flagged with injuries.

Think it's a worthwhile hit, and Chester could easily reward me with a clean sheet at home to Stoke, not to mention the slight attacking potential he offers. At the very least he should play every game over Christmas and a clean sheet this weekend will push his price up to £4m.

Alot of us are hoping he doesn't rise before Sat morning, can't move till then so gotta suck it up if he rises.

He is the go to guy to free up cash it seems so a rise to 4.0 seems highly likely.

He's only 57.4% of the way to a rise. I can't see him rising today.

I'll suck it up if he does. My team value is 110 million or thereabouts so 0.1 isn't worth a 4 point hit.

My days of hits are over unless absolutely necessary.

Only concern remaining for me is that Ben Turner doesn't go up tonight, looking like he might and he's my Terry replacement next week.

This may have been mentioned already but why isn't Rooney going up in value with all the new transfers in for him this week? He has been at 0.4% progress since the start of the week and has had over 16k transfers in today alone

Because of the red flag from his suspension, once the flag was lifted his price is frozen for 7 days.

So when the flag is lifted will the transfers in count towards a rise ?

According to FISO "A: It means that for the next 8 days their price is frozen. It can neither rise nor fall. Once the 8 days is up, the player’s NTI or NTO is reset to zero and the normal rules of increases/decreases kick in from there"

    8 days, my mistake.

Ben Turner at 99.2, looks like I'm in bother.

Have 6.5 million in the bank, think I'll try to chase some risers for the next few weeks to build the kitty for the January wildcard

Why do you have so much in the bank?

I have 2 x 5 million mids (Morrison & Januzaj) that I am going to upgrade, planned to start last week but Gerrard injury delayed things, I don't like taking point hits so prefer to wait. I replaced Gerrard with Fer this week as fixtures look decent.

So the money is only resting in my account!! Won't be there for too long.

    Team at the moment:

    Marshall (Gazzinga)
    Terry Zabaleta Coleman (Fonte) (Rosenior)
    Ramsey Hazard Fer Morrison (Januzaj)
    Suarez Aguero Lukaku (c)

Think my team needs some reconstruction but not sure I'll get to it this evening, any other major scheduled rises/falls?

I haven't lost anything on him yet so will hold firm. After I take Terry out, I'm going to have 4.9 million banked so I'm not too worried at present about the odd 0.1 or 0.2.

There are Capital One Cup games this week too.

Quick question for those in the know...

I bought Aguero in Gameweek 3 when he was worth 11.1. Now he is worth 12.5 in the market but to me he is only worth 11.8 if I go to transfer him out. Not sure why this is the case as he has not been worth 11.8 since 5 gameweeks ago.

Now if he's injured for a few weeks; I'll want to get rid of him but I don't want to lose out on the points increase he got over the last few weeks. How long will it be until he gets up to the current market value for me? I'm not really sure how that works... Also, if he drops to say 12.2 in the next week or two how will that affect his value for me?

    Thanks in advance.

You will only ever be able to get 50% of the price rise in resale, if he goes down to 12.4 you will only get 11.7, he won't go down tonight anyway, probably not tomorrow either or for a few more as he is flagged. Keep an eye on the price changes here http://development.totalfpl.com/pricechanges

He's nowhere near a drop and Rooney will be rest to 0 at 3:30pm today (if I'm not mistaken)
