Hi, and thanks for any replies.
Want to buy the wife an Amazon gift card so that she can get some ebooks for her Kindle Paperwhite that I've got her for Xmas. What do I need to do?I'm not registered with Amazon (though she is) I'd like to have some sort of physical notice of gift that I can include with the Kindle.
Can anyone put me straight please?

I think you'll need to set up your own account to buy the gift card.

Gift cards can be real or virtual - you'll see all the options when you go to buy it.

There might be some issue with amazon.com vs amazon.co.uk gift cards. I think it came up before, like people unable to use them for what they really wanted or the store they wanted. Kindle books might also have regional issues, not sure.
