Team value will tip over £109m tonight, not that it matters. Think I hit £110m by Christmas last season.

I'm at 109.1 mil with 0.5 in the bank. I have 3 to go up tonight (Mert, Hazard and Suarez) and Lukaku may also go up.

Arnie drops the day he has an assist, good fixtures to come as well, I'm staying hitched to that wagon, can't leave it go for some reason, I think he can be a really good player for FPL, as long as he's in the Stoke team he's value around 5.5m, next time he scores will be the start of a run, mark my words.

Will his good run start before or after Townsend's? ;)

Mignolet starting to drop is a real nuisance as i will be selling Remy with my FT.

I want to get Szeschny in but not for a hit when he is away to City but at the same time i cannot afford to leave Mig drop the full 0.3 this week.

Well his assist yesterday against Chelsea bodes well for his upcoming games, his attacking points this year have come against Arsenal, United and Chelsea, he's a really good player from what I've seen, good enough to play for a top 4 team quite easily, we'll see what happens, I'll keep him for 3 gameweeks anyway.

Townsend remains a very unlucky player, he's been one of the best players on the pitch in his late cameo appearances lately, very close to getting attacking points also in all those matches, crossed for Defoe to put against the post yesterday

I can't see Mig dropping the full 0.3. It took him a few days to make that drop. I'm hoping he won't drop 0.1 again this GW.

Just ribbing ya. Arnautovic is a decent player. I've my eye on him myself and have had a while. Problem is Stoke just don't score enough as a team for me.

I've no doubt Townsend will eventually add an end product, much like Bale eventually did, but it could take him a bit longer.

You made a good call on Paulinho this gameweek.

Hoping the same, i have 0.5 in the bank but using more than 0.1 of that on a keeper transfer is not ideal.

Team value at 106.6 with 3.3 in the bank, Gerard injury has impacted my plans for the next few weeks!

Not much news in terms of changes tonight..

Oscar dropped again, Coleman rose again..

Good news for Oscar owners really I think...

He is Jose's favourite and has had a weeks rest, should play alot over the busy xmas period and will be a nice differential to Hazard who could be rotated a little especially with Shurrle in some form

Assuming he is back next week of course

I might end up bringing in Oscar for Hazard in the coming weeks. Have bigger fish to fry at the moment, so we'll see. It'll save me a well needed 0.7..

    :)

I might go for both once I free up some cash. I'm surprised Guzan went up yesterday. Villa were terrible defensively in the bits of the match I saw.

    I have to agree..

Vlaar will be out of my team soon. May end up taking a 4 point hit to get rid. None of my defensive choices sound appealing this week.

Possibly kneejerk, is it possible that some of Villa's defensive failings yesterday were due to Vlaar's absence? Even if you take for granted that there will be a backlash from United this weekend and bench Vlaar for that they still have 4 very tasty fixtures to come straight after, it's hardly worth the 4 point hit in this circumstance I'd say.

Even with "tasty fixtures", I'd have Palace, Norwich, Hull or Cardiff defenders before Villa's. I haven't particularly rated them even with Vlaar playing.

Yesterday they were all over the place, and Fulham, the Rene effect or not, have hardly been banging in the goals.

True. Might look at offloading Clyne in that case.

    Have Gazzaniga already.

I can't really comment much as I would pay very little attention to Villa in general, still their 5 clean sheets to date would suggest that fixtures against stoke(a) palace(h) Swansea(h) and Sunderland(a) are likely to pay dividends, that's 4 weeks in a row you'll almost certainly play a 4.5m defender in Vlaar's case, seems like an inopportune time to sell him for a hit.

I believe Berbatov was in top form yesterday, good enough to cause any defence trouble.

I don't disagree about the person who has Vlaar but my initial point is that I can't understand people bringing in Guzan.

He's 5 mil too so is more expensive than the other budget keepers like McGregor, Marshall or Ruddy.

I hope people hold on another day or 2 with the CL matches. I'd have liked to have kept him for the next 2 weeks if fit. Oh well, need to think about his replacement now and probably a Chelsea man.

    How random..

David Silva was on about 96% of the way to a drop earlier today.

Suddenly on 180% of the way.. Yet his NTI barely budged..

Only thing that changed was his red flag went yellow.

The type of flag change the requirement for a price drop, not sure of the details of how it works

No idea to be honest. I'm bringing him in at the first hint of him coming back! :p
