Great tune, but 'It's My Life' is better. :pac:

I love the 50s style guitar work.

    Hard to choose one.

This would be one of my faves though.

Well sure pick one, they're an obvious underrated 60s band. It was amazing back then that pop bands actually played instruments and for the most part wrote their own material. A far cry from One Direction and some client working for the record company hired to write hits.

Modmaple great song, did Badly Drawn Boy take his influence a bit too far? Very similar melody if you listen to it.

I had just discoverd guns n roses
There was a BBC documentary on late at night
So i set it to record to get guns n roses
Next morning played it back and this was on it
I was totally blown away !!!
Only source of music for me in 1989 was whatever was on the radio
    or top of the pops
So this was the most extreme music i ever heard
To this day I still love this song

I can never pick just one.

First to mind is The Cult, She Sells Sanctuary.

Or the Jeff Buckley version of Hallelujah.

    I need a 'top 100' thread!

I have no explanation, nor do I fully relate to the lyrics, but this is the song I listen to most. Its chilling, funky, and anthemic all at once.
