60-1 vert pcb

Has anyone run one of these in a non-jamma setup?
It says you can use a standard ATX pc PSU.
But would you need to mod the PSU so it switches on without a PC Mainboard?

I have one running being powered by a power supply off an external hard drive. you can buy them on ebay for 5 quid. plugs right in.

My uncle is building a cocktail cab based on one.
that psu looks a lot handier than a jamma psu for a novice.
I'll get him to get that.

Yep no messin, just plug it in.

ive a 60in1 in my space invaders cocktail, they are handy too because if you disable all other games except one, in my case space invaders, then when you turn on the cocktail it comes up as if its the original pcb in it. it doesnt do that loading count, boots straight to space invaders title screen.

Those PCBs are a bit of a godsend when it comes to classic boards alright. Tiny little things too.

Actually I was in that bar Cassidys the other day for the first time and noticed they've two small cabaret style cabs. (unfortunately both with LCDs!

) one of them has that exact 60 in 1 board.

My uncle is a cabinet maker by trade and has his own factory/workshop full of top machines and a spray booth.
so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with!
I'm trying to steer him away from the usual pitfalls we all made when starting out!
I got him to use a crt for starters

I got this one for my 60-in-1 pcb.

It seems to be much higher quality than others ones I've used and I even got a second to power my Amiga CD32, and its nice and neat and reliable.
