Got stopped by the Gards last night for driving in a bus lane.
Pointed to the sign that said it was open after 19:00 - then to my watch.
    Was allowed on my way.

Then found out today that the company I work for is winding up.

    Always awful to hear. :(

This might sound like a silly question but.... Does my Honda Accord 2009 last shape have parking lights on the front? I see two bulbs one is headlight one is the dip beam. Only other one is indicator, is the parking light part of the indicator or something?
    Cheers
    Gav

Could you try turning them on and having a look? I'd imagine it is.

Well that's the problem I guess both are blown as no lights on front when parking lights are on. They are on at the back. Indicators are working tho...

That's on the to do list for my carina too.
Not looking forward to it if I' honest, it is a bit far passed the type of task I would normally attempt

'I have no idea what I'm doing.' :D

Sure how hard can it be? I'm guessing 8 bolts on the cover its self and maybe up to 5 more to get other stuff out of the way. I could be wrong and there is a heap of stuff in the way but I would guess not :)

Doesn't seem like the hardest job, mine needs doing aswell, it's seeping oil.
Remove plugs, bolts and it should lift right off.
You'd want a decent torque wreck for the job.

In fairness the car involved is only the carina, based on late 80's mechanics so it can't be that hard.
    Just first time nerves hahahahaha

That standard S14 is now only €4500. Mmmm

    You'll be fine :)

Might need a hammer to free the cover once the bolts are out as they can get a bit stuck to the gasket. A rubber mallet is best but a normal hammer and a block of wood will be fine.

Anyone know what the deal is with importing from Dubai? Car prices are on the floor.

    2012 Alpina B7 for $26,000:

Currently driving a W208 CLK as my daily, when I bought it a previous owner had removed the original stereo and cd changer, replacing them with a Sony Xplod. I jst removed that and stuck in an original Mercedes unit along with a changer. The sound difference alone is incredible. Plus it's much neater looking, can't stand gaudy radios

My radio is currently dying a slow painful death by the sounds of it, sometimes it works and others it doesn't, can't afford a new decent one either :o oh the joys!
