    ordered direct from sony, console has been shipped so hopefully it gets here for friday. i've no idea where sony europe's warehouse is.

    Yup, no change, and 2 day delivery. Someone posted how their xb1 shipped on the thursday and was delivered on friday evening.

    My expected delivery says fri/sat. Do they actually deliver on saturdays ?

    It seems the cut off point at the end of August wasn't correct so, as people are getting calls, even though they ordered in September.

    Id advise people to contact their Gamestops, as i didn't think i was getting one on launch day as i ordered on the 21st of August and was told all along i wouldn't get one, but i rang them yesterday after seeing a message on their Facebook page.

    WOOHOO!! Just got my confirmation text that my preorder will be ready tomorrow at midnight!

    From Smyths in Fonthill, I ordered on the 9th Sept and one of the lads ordered a few days later also got a confirmation text.

    Lol just read about ps4 not support external hd at all, only for firmware updates. So its mean i cant watch my movies from external hd like i was doing on ps3??

    Yep, it has to be patched in, along with mp3 support... I have a 500g hdd full of content i use every day with my ps3.. so i wont be packing away my ps3 anytime soon.

    Plus, even if you could some how load content onto the actual ps4 internal hdd, the content wouldnt play, its blocked until firmware update.

    Was 170 on list from smyths carrickmines and I ordered end of August and I just got this text a few minutes ago,

    PS4 Console will be available at Smyths Carrickmines at Midnight tomorrow 28.11.13. To guarantee your console for Christmas you must collect by 11pm 02.12.13

    Bad practice Imo. Can't see any good reason why they don't answer them. I was trying to get through to them a few months back. I had to go in there in the end which wasn't the most convenient option for me at the time.
