    Dear all, we're happy to announce that from today onwards, anyone who collects their pre-ordered XBoxOne console at any of our Xtra-vision stores will not have to purchase an additional game in order to receive their console.
    Anyone who has already collected their console and purchased an additional game, you can return the unopened game with proof of purchase to the store where you made the purchase between November 22nd and 26th, and you'll be refunded.
    We regret any upset or inconvenience that may have been caused.

    I think it means if you bought it in and between them days you can, but still its a shambles if people bought the game for 70 quid they were obviously going to open it not stare at it and hope Xtravision would do something about it, shambles off a company.

    Mostly bundles I think, there may have been a minimal number of Solus too.

    Hmm....as expected, Amazon news is a bit mixed. Most saying dispatch not until the 28th (although some are saying tomorrow) which throws a Friday delivery in the lap of the gods, unless you're sorting yourself out a Parcel Motel effort.
    Couriers, for UK orders anyway, are being looked at as there was a few balls dropped for Xbox orders.

    If anyone cares, XV are not ringing people till Thursday. I might end up buying console there and nothing else. Then close account. If smyths don't call soon. :)

    Just got a call from Xtravision to say I was getting a killzone bundle. Rang them last week and they told me they were sold out. Told her this and she said I don't know why he said that cause we only found out today. Told her I have it bought already from BT so she's giving me free rentals to say sorry and make myself known to her and she'll look after me !!

    Sony have released a list of irish stores which will have release day consoles here are some of the ones I haven't seen mentioned here and might be worth checking out.

    Power City
    Cd world
    Smart spot
    Toy master
    World of wonder
    Expert electrical

    Might be worth ringing around if you have not sercurred a ps4 yet.

    Rang gamestop and asked them if I was getting my console on launch day and told me I was and offered me the killzone bundle for an extra 40 euros.also invited me too midnight launch which was a bonus happy chappy here :)

    Got a text from Gamestop in the Cresent Limerick inviting me to the Thursday night launch.

    no mention of my bundle but I'll just go ahead and assume that I still have the Killzone mega pack :pac:

    Did ya try and ring them I didn't order on-line ordered mine in store.I rang them myself just to ask them if I was getting my on day one and they asked me to midnight launch aswell

    Emailed them asking again, they aren't doing anything for online orders so I cancelled the last game I had with them and I'm just getting the console now.

    I was only getting Killzone and it's cheaper digitally than any shop in Ireland, I was also getting BF4 but might either buy that from the US or in smyths.

    Just in case, I know it may have been posted already but couldn't see it. The sony website has games available for "purchase" now. I got my copies of resogun and contrast. So have both US and IRL versions.
