Could stay down the night before in a cheap hotel or B&B?

I would if I was you.

Mine is in the afternoon so hopefully I'll be fully awake by then lol. Just no heavy lunches.

I probably will to be fair, it's due to start pre 9am  - might take a flying visit down to check parking & travel time etc before so I'm prepared :)

Lol hope you're up & good luck, waiting all day for it to start wouldn't be parties either!

As far as I remember I think they cut it down to 2k for AC and then 1k on the merit list of those who passed AC.

IST CAN apparently be used if you had the EXACT same AC score as someone, to pick the 'better' of the two but not very likely :)

I would think it is very likely that IST result will be used exactly how you describe, there could be 50 or more candidates with the same score!

Yeah me too. I'm trying to restrain myself out of respect for people who haven't heard because this must be horrible but it's quite difficult. Still hasn't quite sunk in. Been feeling mostly relief so far rather than excitement.

I'm a little over excitable atm and probably should wait until thurs before launching into "public" celebration mode!

Sorry if I came across as being inconsiderate :( I have faith, judging by some poster's previous comments throughout that they have passed hands down!

2010 Campaign: 9,825 applications with 1,419 through to AC. Obviously doesn't take into account the amount that did not attend in the first place at IST and of course who knows if those type of 'success rates' have any bearing to this campaign.

 sorry if you thought I was getting at ye. Honestly didn't mean to come across as such. I'm sure they don't begrudge any of us but I'd hate to be in their shoes is all I meant. Enjoy your success. You're entitled to be pleased with yourself :)

Lot of passive boardies coming out of the woodwork to announce their success. Hah.

Have to admit guys if i hadnt heard by now i would be seriously worried, everyone seemed to have gotten their pass emails at the same time....some more may come out tomorrow but the vast majority would have come out today so if you havent heard then i would unfortunately suggest it MIGHT be bad news.

On the plus side my AC isnt til after christmas so plenty of time to relax and enjoy myself before preparing for it.....bring it on!!

That's harsh. Obviously the results are coming out over several days so not hearing today doesn't infer one way or other. Keep the chin up folks!

Apologies Gee but i think trying to work out patterns and methods of sending emails out will drive you even more mad....everyone whos got emails seem to be from a wide spectrum of ages/scores/locations/dates etc so highly unlikley they have used anything like that to send them out....on the other hand sending 7000 emails out in one night does seem like a task and a half

That's not helpful. I think Gee and Highbury will be grand. They seem like intelligent guys from posting. It's no simple ordeal to post 7k emails and there's time tabling issues to be resolved I'm sure to make the ACs cost effective. No point having an AC for 6 people in Enniskillen or wherever it is.

I think if there's one person on this board who everyone is backing and would be please to see not only pass ist but be successful in gaining a position, it's you gee. All of your predictions have been spot on and have been a valuable source of Info for everyone here. I think they will send more successes out each day.

We also need to remember guys just because we havent heard of people failing doesnt mean they havent sent out those emails yet....if i failed i doubt i would come on and see everyone else passing tbh.....so take comfort in that gee.......factor in to that that very very few people actually use this forum when compared to the overall applicants so we are just a small group who just happen to communicate with each other.....

Is anyone who has passed using their IT uni modules to cover the IT qualification? How likely is it that the awarding body will provide this info do you think?

Having a wee read of the email in relation to the Ac. Seems to be an emphasis on written exercises..give us an insight to the actual role I guess lol

Ive said it before as the odds are pretty damn slim with so few to be offered a place in hotel g im using this campaign as a practice run and not setting my heart up to get it broke again. Looking forward to chexking out the new AC beast

Gee, Out of the mindless babble ive been watching on the forum the only person who seems to have verified and correct info and who from a look through the posts and discussions on the forums here would be a shoe in with prep, testing and actually passing and gaining is you mate....

Don't forget every single on of the emails has to be personalised with name, UID and scoring so I have no doubt at all that every pass and/or fail has been released yet, you have nothing to worry about bud.... I think you'll get a wee email in the next 48 hours no bother!

    :)

Depends on which body it is. Have you contacted them?
