OK, I did my IST on the 7th Nov in Co. Derry/Londonderry. Has anyone who did their IST on that day got a pass email yet?

    Getting really worried.

I'm from NW area. AC about 90 mins away at stupid o'clock. Definitely not complaining though.

Yep I did mine on 7th in that area. I wouldn't worry, I know someone else who did the same day but earlier time and still awaiting results.

Stupid o'clock is a lot nicer than the time I'd give mine :( add in the 30 mins before plus travel time and I'll be a like a zombie on the day :/ nervous getting and it's not until feb!

Just got word that I passed!! :O the AC seems to be very different this time! It states in email that you're going to be taking on the role of a new copper.. instead of like manager or whatever it was before.. interesting. .

I am from the big smoke so not sure if that upsets your theory. Have also checked with friends who have applied from here there and everywhere and all bit one seems to have a result and passed

That's dedication! I'm almost nocturnal so it will be 'fun' ;) I'm really excited now!!! Plus I reckon that because they are taking almost 500 hypothetical constables out of this campaign, we're in with a pretty effin good shot :D

Could stay down the night before in a cheap hotel or B&B?

I would if I was you.

Mine is in the afternoon so hopefully I'll be fully awake by then lol. Just no heavy lunches.

Yeah me too. I'm trying to restrain myself out of respect for people who haven't heard because this must be horrible but it's quite difficult. Still hasn't quite sunk in. Been feeling mostly relief so far rather than excitement.

I passed as well, got the email at 7.30pm. Don't worry folks those who haven't heard word(double check your junk mail, thats where mine was!). The successful email has to be personalised with score breakdown/time/place of AC slot so it'll be over a few days before every things out. I was kinda hoping the AC would be this side of Christmas but alas not.

Hey guys passed mine, got 54 is all though so slightly worried about that. Does anyone know if the IST results have any say on future stages or is that the IST done dusted and forgotten?
I'm down in Munster, did my IST on the 11th Nov in Dublin. AC first week in Jan up North so prob have to make a weekend out of it.

Not of course tramping on anyone achievements and I realise that if you failed you are more unlikely to post, and also that most of the people on here have good common sense and familarisation with the process... However, there seem to be an awful lot of people who have passed ! 51 is pretty reasonable I think.

I wonder what percentage of the ~7.5k people who applied are going through.

7.5k / 100 + 378 = 15 ppl per position at the start. Wonder what is the competition ratio now ?
