Just reading the thread. Well done UrbanSea mate, serious pick. Hope you had a nice few quid on and some of the lads followed your advice. Love seeing a bet come off for the regulars.

    On a serious note, ouch!!
Off for more pints before the flight. God love you all!

Exactly, what's the point in watching such a one sided game?

The boys who laid Ireland @ 28/1 on Betfair during the week might need new pants right now! :)

Why the monster drift on Man Utd?

Think the word is no RVP.

And that is why we will never beat them.

I may be completely deluded but you can get 25/1 on betfair for New Zealand not to win on Sunday. Is that not massive? This is NZ without Dan Carter who couldve been beaten by England last week, a team Ireland aren't miles away from. Obviously NZ will nearly certainly win but I was going on expecting them to be 1/10, not 1/25

Got most of it out when Ireland were 1.8 to lay. Great day for money, but my god that finish was depressing. ****ks sake

The only reason I didn't take 4/5 Utd was that I've been dying of a cold all day & fell asleep around 3pm for over an hour. Was cursing most of the time since I woke up then saw the final score

    Woo hoo!

Buzzing for Leopardstown at Christmas. Love that meeting.

United are goosed. The team bar RVP and Rooney are average but, despite that, you can't afford to sit back on a lead, even against the league's poorest sides. This has always been Moyes' achilles heel. May have been acceptable at Everton but not at United.

I'm a broken man after that weekend!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

    That was surprisingly easy.

I'm keeping an eye on the Newbury cards this weekend. It's almost heresy to say it but I might go there instead of Sandown next year.

I love the Tingle Creek but the Friday is usually woeful & there's usually a pile of uncompetitive small field races on Saturday
