    I'll be stocking up when I'm over in January, but how come they didn't take off in sales in Ireland. Tesco had them for a while.

    Could be something to do with the fact that they didn't sell well after a few years of marketing them, because we didn't like them.

    Marketing them? I never once saw an ad for Twiglets in Ireland. I think it may have had something to do with Jacob's Tallaght closing down in 2009.

    Twiglets are pretty healthy, a metric shit ton of B12, wholewheat base and baked rather than fried.

    They hit the market here in the 1950s if not earlier - I definitely had them in the 50s. The TV was full of adverts in the lead up to Christmas right through the 1970s. You must have seen them! They were never a big seller - a bit like matchmakers.
