I'll be stocking up when I'm over in January, but how come they didn't take off in sales in Ireland. Tesco had them for a while.

    Twiglets, would you?

Could be something to do with the fact that they didn't sell well after a few years of marketing them, because we didn't like them.

Marketing them? I never once saw an ad for Twiglets in Ireland. I think it may have had something to do with Jacob's Tallaght closing down in 2009.

Love them, particularly the Worcester Sauce flavour, which they sadly don't make any more.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Do they taste like pretzels? I really don't think I'd like them, but I'd like to try them!

Twiglets, meaning small twigs. I don't eat twigs, I prefer food.

And while we're on the subject of poxy snacky things, Pom bear can f#ck right off too.

Twiglets are pretty healthy, a metric shit ton of B12, wholewheat base and baked rather than fried.

They hit the market here in the 1950s if not earlier - I definitely had them in the 50s. The TV was full of adverts in the lead up to Christmas right through the 1970s. You must have seen them! They were never a big seller - a bit like matchmakers.

Matchmakers!!! Oh my god...you just brought my childhood flooding back...

That said, I'm not as old as you clearly ;)

We're talking classic snax. None of your modern snax horseplop

Little sh1tty sticks that taste about the same.

    I rank them alongside sprouts.

Both should be wiped off the face of the earth.

If you are being force-fed food items that you dislike, you might want to question your lifestyle choices.

One of the advantages of being a grown up is that I don't get force fed any more :)
