Argos and Tesco's will have some.. but you will probably have to scout some out and queue up for a few hours.. Do ya have any mates / family working in Argos / tesco's maybe ask them.

I just recieved another email from Gamestop confirming delivery on day 1 (or hopefully Day -1):

The PS4 will be shipped out to you by Tracked Mail and payment will be taken on the date of shipment.

As your console is being sent by Tracked mail it will require a signature. Please make sure that someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the delivery. If nobody is at the address you may miss out on having your order on time.

I'd say there would be a number of people switching allegiances and dropping off the pre-order list.

A word of warning for anyone getting their consoles in XtraVision, they made people buy a game or accessory last night before they were able to get their XB1 bundle, they said the same will happen with the PS4, if you do not do it you will not get one.

Maybe. Id say they got more stock.xbone is having a few problems with diskdrives so im happy im getting ps4.

Rat b*****s! Will be getting an extra controller anyway, why didnt they just put their own bundles together and call people saying you have a choice of this this or this??

Also anyone who ordered from Sony, the XB1's from MS will not be delivered until monday! SO Pray thay Sony are sending them out early next week

A friend of mine went in last night to pick up the his bundle and was then told he could not have it unless he bought a game or a accessory, he is getting the PS4 and asked if it would be the same and they said it would, people are saying it in the XB1 pre order thread as well

Thats a real dirty trick. Imagine saving up for the xbone and going to collect in xtravision to be told you have to spend another 60 + on a game. I can imagine kids walking out broken hearted!

Also, xtravision and hmv are owned by the same company so be awares when getting your ps

Jesus, that's just a low down nasty way to treat people, its no wonder they are in trouble with despicable behaviour like this.

Imagine a kid turning up with enough cash for what they ordered and being told they have to spend more money that they probably don't have on something they don't even want. There'd be tears.

Customer service is Dead in Ireland none of our local game stores deserve our money! Any locality I had for them is gone. Amazon or VGPlus is whom will get mu hard earned cash!

I have my PS4 with XV. I'm glad that the Xbox one lads are gonna beta test the service with Xv for us PS4 lads. Let them phone Joe Duffy and the NCA ,they should have it sorted out for us by next thursday night

Maybe we should start ringing Sony Ireland and complain about XV and let them eat the heads off their head office . Sony have always been great to Irish consumers because we have the highest console integration outside Japan in the world...ever since the PS1 (remember the ps2 ads ,yer woman with the alien eyes and yer man from Dublin, the ads where very Irish).

ps,I do not have the coloured controllers yet,I have them preodered.

Really if you have the item paid for in full it should be yours to take. Sounds like a dodgy stroke to me.
Imagine if you ordered a new car in January and were told you can't have it until you buy leather seats or alloy wheels. Sounds like somebody didn't think that through.

Well Lads,

Placed an order in HMV Dundrum the day they re-opened in September. Was in there yesterday and asked was there any update on the PS4 as I haven't heard anything. They said they didn't know what the story was at all. They are totally in the dark.

Anyone hear anything different or have an update??
