Hi all, Can anyone list what the approximate average pensions are for retired personnel after 21 & 31 years service in the Irish Navy. I was told by a mate who is a CPO on retirement with 34 years service and gets around €400 a week. He can't claim the state pension as well when he is 65, but he can get a job in the mean…

Hi all,

Can anyone list what the approximate average pensions are for retired personnel after 21 & 31 years service in the Irish Navy.

I was told by a mate who is a CPO on retirement with 34 years service and gets around €400 a week. He can't claim the state pension as well when he is 65, but he can get a job in the mean time but obviously his combined income will be taxed.

What are the approximate pensions for other ranks if anyone knows?
