The listing is actually in German (even though the URL is .nl)
It is unpainted (don't know if that is good or bad news!)

I remember seeing that on a Tomorrow's World about 25 years ago :D

I only remember two things from that show - that car and some new system in a Bluebird that Nissan were gonna put in their cars that had a speaker under the seat that was supposed to put out a noise that would cancel out the noise the car made. Some sort of acoustic noise cancelling stuff. Don't think they ever did anything with it :D

I just thought I'd throw up the image and see if people remembered it. I love it. I remember they had a experimental Volvo from about 1981 that could do over 90mpg on diesel or something like that. I also remember the folding Renault small car, how Renault were using a Jeep Cherokee to make a video in which they could green screen in a 4x4 they were working on to see what it would look like in the real world and finally infared headlights that allowed you to see people in the dark (I think Merc use these now). I also remember them showing an early sat nav in a Renault 25 being used in Paris.

Sadly no show like it now

Now that I think of it, I think they had an electric Renault 5 too or was it a Fiat Uno?

Even better, I've found BEYOND 2000.

From 1993 an early form of Sat Nav, start at around 6:30

A feature on the Vector, America's fighter jet inspired super car

Got to 6:50 for a look at the Buick WILDCAT which reckons by 1995 car doors will be a thing of the past

It was actually beyond 2000 I was thinking of all along.

I've been freaking out the past two days because I lost my one and only key for the Roadster, I pulled the house apart and had a horrible feeling they had fallen in the bin in my room, which I threw into the wheely bin on collection day!
I tore the house apart yesterday morning and had another stab at it today but still couldn't find them.

Asked my mam and she said my Niece was messing with a set of keys the other day, previous to bin day so no indication of being saved, she hadn't seen them since though.
Asked my dad, who is usually hopeless in these situations, he recommended I check the toy box if one of the kids had them... Why did I not think of that?!

    FOUND THEM!! :D
Buried deep in Lego and dinosaurs! I've never seen so relieved!

Get a key cut! I'm not a fan of having just the one key. If there is no immobiliser it should be really cheap to get a second.

There's an after market immobiliser on it so I'll have to see about a new key and a new fob I think. Scarey two days!

Since going RWD I notice sometimes the car will tramline slightly when on groved surfaced roads, its only a slight pull on the steering wheel in one direction or the other and needs a bit of correction...is this normal in a RWD or is it the tyres?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,729 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

My Almera used to do that loads so I wouldn't say it's purely a RWD thing.

See if you need it tracked or if some of the joints are gone

Have you tried talking to the dealer principal to see if anything can be done?

Popped into the garage today, they're taking it back next week to have a looksie

If a matter is getting out of hand I always give them a call before it's too late and someone (usually me like a tit) blows a gasket

They were pretty good about it tbh, we'll see what happens.
