    Real world. Indeed.

The 2nd best fictional programme in the history of TV. Your life is a worse place for not having seen it

I can only assume you've only ever seen two fictional programs.

Tried to back Westlife each way at Wexford at 22/1 with SportingBet. Hit place bet but hasn't enough funds yet they still immediately changed price could only get 20/1 ffs

I'm going to nip across the road to the racecourse at lunchtime to watch the first two races at Wexford, serious coup for a crappy regional track like that to host the hurdling debut of the reigning Champion Bumper winner... The Grey Monk runs in the 2nd race, want to see him up close to attempt to figure out what the hell possessed Alan Potts to pay upwards of €200k for him.. Have a free ticket in so it would be stupid not to make use of that :)

Take care how you speak of that 'crappy regional track'. I'm quite fond of it

I would agree it is in my top 5 to but the last 4 seasons were average and repetitive.

Choc thornton is no longer number one at Kings, about bloody time too he is very average and Hutchinson is imo the better of the two, they will share the top rides and decisions will be made by the owners I think.

Ah I'm only stirring the pot, I've actually had a few good evenings up at Bettyville, though mostly due to drink and banter rather than the quality of the racing on show :)

Actually went to the races there as part of my stag weekend fado fado.. I should attend more often but finances (along with crappy weather at times) usually prevents me from going along

No,you were right the first time...it IS a crappy racecourse :)

Briar Hill won as he pleased, exactly as expected.. He looked plenty fit but I've no doubt he'll be even better having had the run too... Went left at a few of the hurdles but not enough to do any damage, Wexford has a couple of tight right-hand jumps that will make even a slight move to the left look bigger than it really was, he jumped pretty tidily for the most part, I reckon he'll be an even more serious prospect when he goes chasing next year... The Grey Monk looked stunning in the sunshine (but then again greys usually do), got gifted the race by the eventual runner up nodding on landing after the last, I still reserve judgement as to whether or not Potts was sold a pup as to my eye he needed the run, will be interesting to see where De Bromhead goes with him next...

Decent enough crowd around for a Tuesday lunchtime, bloody cold up there though

Went to Queens of the Stone Age Sunday night.

My ears stopped ringing today. What a show.

I'm actually p£ssed off though that they didn't sell out the o2 and One Direction can sell out Croke Park twice.

A European team can't win the world cup in south america, that just leaves Brazil and Argentina, two horse race, and the super argies are superior, definite lump job for me. Been backing them in every world cup since 1978, got paid twice since then,2014 is my hat trick :)
