Minecraft arrow controls missing

Help! I installed Minecraft from play store for my son but he tells me the arrow controls are missing. I have tried for the last two hours but can't figure it out, any help for a Newbie please! How do I install them? Thanks.

Do you mean the arrow (cursor) keys on the keyboard? Minecraft uses the WASD keys for movement, by default, like many games. #
W = forward
A = left
S = back
D = right
E = inventory
Q = drop item.
