    The mother in law got me annual membership for Leopardstown for this year which includes some complimentary tickets for friends that can be used on certain days allowing access to the bar, problem is the days you can use them the racing is fairly pants so I couldn't be arsed going.

    It's due for renewal and it's €235 for the year whereas seniors membership is €180 and under 25's is €90 so I am thinking it's not ****ing worth it by quite a way.

    Anyone see the pic from the photo finish today? I know Winnings Way Syndicate came out the right side of it (I'm sure he'll be posting in the relevant thread re another success of one of his syndicates :P) but having looked at the photo it was extremely, extremely close - literally a whisker!

    I was there yesterday convert poor crowds. The betting ring was probably the quietest I have ever seen and that's twice I've been and it's like that. Even Sligo always has a good betting ring

    Took them a good while to sort it out, delighted for him. Hopefully Pierlow is next but not by photo finish...

    Kept my money in my pocket for the most part, though had the bumper winner, so not too bad. Was a good day - some nice winners and good horses to keep an eye on in the future. Much better atmosphere today than yesterday - great buzz with the Fly!
