    hi gang,

i have my mac since december 2011.

im running lion, and im just wondering if its possible to tab through multiple instances of the same application?

i know how to tab through the various apps you might have open at the same time --> CMD + Tab.

However, this does not give you the option to select the second window of google chrome you might have open for example.

On my older white macbook (model year 2007) I was able to tab through the multiple instances of Google chrome by clicking: CMD + "button above tab", however this doesn't work anymore on my current macbook pro.

    Any advice would be great.

    thanks,
    ed

Command+backtick (the "`" key to the right of the left shift key).

u legend, sad professor, iv been looking for this function for 2 years.

is there any way of changing the sequence to a more ergonomic sequence?

its a bit of a struggle entering that input, its like keyboard twister..

    thanks

Yeah you should be able to change it in System Prefs > Keyboard > Shortcuts.
