The michu sales have slowed thank god :-) I'm gonna wait till next gw to sell him now either way. Not worth 4 points with uncertainty over my Chelsea targets. And who knows michu may even play......it was only a twisted ankle .....

    Not according to this:

    http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2013/11/06/scout-scribbles-city-cruise-through/
Michael Laudrup may be deprived of the Spaniard’s services for the next four weeks, according to the Swansea official website. Both Michu and Pablo Hernandez are out of the Europa League game against Kuban Krasnodar, though, while Ben Davies has recovered earlier than expected from an ankle complaint and is in the squad for tomorrow’s match.

I think alot of people are watching for injuries from tonight and the transfers will start then.

Question marks over silva+hazard. Considering Toure now for Michu, at least he is nailed to play 90 min. Midfield very troublesome this year.

Is Rat and Ramsey in for Riether(suspended til december) and Michu a good move? Frees up some cash for next week to offload Barkley

Have had money in the bank since the start of the season, until now.

Have used my free transfer for...

Lukaku - Out. Benteke - In. Actully did Bentake for Lukaku back at the end of September, so have made a bit of a profit there.

Michu - Out. Hazard - In. Hazard is back in the squad for the first time since August.

I wouldn't be quick to move on Hazard. Looks like there are problems with him and Mourinho:

@tomwfootball: Jose Mourinho enigmatic on Eden Hazard's absence. "Kids make mistakes. Fathers have to be clear in the way they educate their sons."

@alibruceball: Mourinho also quite cagey about why Eden Hazard not involved tonight, what he did say was that he's NOT injured but he DID miss training.

I am so happy now I got Ramsey in this week. I don't even uderstand why. He was on Stand By, and then another, match winning, goal???
    WTF Ramsey?
This is ridiculous at this stage. Feel tempted to get Januzaj in, just in case his price rises from 5 to 7 in few weeks.

I did notice he wasn't on the sub list. Just thought it was part of Mourinhos crazy rotation, and I took a gamble.

Whats puzzling me is Girouds continuing fall. Is he not expected to do much against Utd, or is this bandwagoning in reverse following the match against Liverpool, of because allot of his owners also have a Utd forward.

Most players that have dumped Giroud, myself included, did so in order to get Aguero or Suarez in as they are the must-have strikers at the moment. I also think that most are more than comfortable with having one or both of Ozil and Ramsey in their teams and having Giroud as well seems like overkill.

Mirror have a fuller story on hazard.

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelseas-eden-hazard-dropped-schalke-2684582

Seems a little bit of my storm in a teacup despite the fairly sensationalist story. The actual Jose quotes confirm he will be in squad for the weekend 'on the bench or playing' and ends with "On Saturday, he is back. So, end of story"

Hopefully it motivates him to bust his ass for a while.

    Edit. Sky news version.. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11945/9012242/champions-league-jose-mourinho-says-eden-hazard-forgot-chelsea-training-time

Don't plan on making any changes this week. Pretty happy with my squad. Re: Giroud, I got rid of him last week to bring in (and captain) Aguero. I think any goals Arsenal get against United will be from the Ozil/Ramsey pairing.

    (Cue Giroud hatrick. ;))

Is it worth doing Michu > Brady and Giroud > Aguero with 2FT's?

I have Ozil, but am thinking he's a bit pricey to go for a strong forward line. Anyone thinking of selling him?
Although, over the season he probably will be worth the price!

I probably would, especially as you have Ozil.

I'd say a lot including myself will do Ozil to Walcott when he's back.

So out of nowhere Winston Reid (my signing from last week) has gone red flagged with an ankle injury. Along with Silva (my signing for this week), Lukaku (got injured last week) and McGregor (my signing FOR last week but he got injured, his replacement scoring 8).

I may not be able to field 11 this week.

I just got him as well. Maybe he isn't bothered about travelling for the WC playoff games for New Zealand and a little niggle is an excuse not to.

He doesn't seem the type, as backed up by this article.

Unfortunately for old Winston, Rory decide to bring him into his FF team which has evidently cursed him.

FFS mention six to eight weeks out:

    http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2013/11/07/scout-scribbles-ramsey-the-gunners-goal-hero/
West Ham have confirmed Winston Reid will miss the weekend trip to Norwich after sustaining an ankle injury in training. The club have also indicated he is set to miss New Zealand’s upcoming World Cup play-offs against Mexico which take place over the next fortnight, though the Kiwis coach Ricki Herbert has suggested Reid could be out for as long as “six to eight weeks” with the problem.

Laudrup has also said that Michu has been playing with knee problems so no wonder he has been struggling.

Yeah and look at the video at the top "Is Winston Reid's injury dodgy?"

West Ham aren't a CL or Europa league club. Fixture congestion isn't a problem for them.

Michu red flagged now.....so only 56% of way to a drop. I'll be happy if I can get to Saturday with just another .1 lost on him. Not taking 4 points just gonna play 4 3 3 and hope everyone else plays ,.......

Ozil out for Ramsey. Just couldn't wait any longer to get Rambo, he is in the form of his life and with his ownership now at 56%, he is the definitive must have in the game. As Lemlin said he is simply unstoppable at the moment.

11 goals and 5 assists over 17 games in all competitions.

Plus he's pulling some crazy Zidane-like moves in games!

Yep, the kid is a shoe-in for Young Player of the Year already.

  • Banking it this week.

Spying a Liverpool and West Ham run coming up.

Michu out for Coutinho and Coleman out for Rat next week I think...

    feic.

    This changing now.

Too early for Coutinho though? Or is he set to play?

    Toying with

    (-4) Michu -> Howson && Lukaku -> Suarez
    or
Michu -> Coutinho and not having Suarez this week

Only issue with first is that it means that after Oscar, my most expensive midfielder is Arnautovic at 5.5!

My plan for a West Ham defender has changed with Reid's absence. Very important member of their defence.

Strongly considering making no transfers this week, and making 2 or maybe even 3 next week.

My predicament this week......I have Sakho (don't worry - getting replaced soon) and feel I want him to be my 4th starting DEF this week while at home to Fulham. Should I go with this.....I now need to drop one of my attackers, and I think it has to be one of either Ramsay or Ozil away to MU. I think having both start is a bigger gamble than playing Sakho. I was leaning to benching Ramsay.....I have a gut feeling it will not have too many goals and I think Ozil might shine.

    Thoughts?

Was having the same thoughts myself. Collins is due back for WHU, playing Norwich who have been woeful in front of goal. Thinking Collins has a better chance of getting 6 this week than Ramsey. But then again, it's Aaron ****ing Ramsey

I think it's crazy to bench Ramsey with the returns he has been giving. United aren't playing well and, in particular, aren't defending well, I'll be playing both Ozil and Ramsey.

On another note, Lukaku's yellow flag has been removed. Looks like Kone is going to miss most of the season too so that's good news for us Lukaku owners.

Its all good! I'll definitely be starting both Ozil and THE RAM against Man U! :D
