Really want Aguero though. Am I mad to sell Rooney for Aguero ???

I'd be shedding Giroud if I were you. Arsenal have a tough run coming up.

Downgrade a mid or defender and go for Rooney.

    Another mug signing in.

Not sure what to do this week. Team currently:

    Mig / Boruc

    Zab / Terry / Rangel / Coleman / Chester

    Ozil / Oscar / AJ / Townsend / Kasami

    Suarez / Aguero / Lukaku

    0.4m in bank.

Thinking of Kasami to Morrison (WHU) / Coleman to Reid (WHU) or Mig to Jussi (WHU).

Obviosuly I like WHU fixtures. Kasami seems the most obvious to be getting out, especially with AJ and Townsend being far from points magnets. But I have wanted to get rid of Mig for weeks now, and think there are more clean sheets coming for WHU. Have Coleman from GW1.

    Any thoughts?

What's your team looking like now?

    Mine is:

    Mignolet
    Coleman Shaw Zabaleta Terry
    Ramsey Oscar Ozil
    Suarez Aguero Lukaku

Harper the hero, Clyne, Barkley, Brady.
1.2 million in the bank. Transfer this week was Giroud to Lukaku. Team value is 106.2 so essentially 107.4 million. It was up around 108 million but I've a few lads are starting to drop.
Playing 4-3-3 this week because I think there's more chance of Coleman getting attacking points/clean sheet than Barkley or Brady.

Any changes you can see for future weeks?

I've taken 5 transfer hits so far so I'm trying to avoid them now. The last one particularly irked me because I took a hit to get Aguero in, he was then injured and took another hit to change him for Suarez.
    Boruc(davis)
    terry dawson johnson (clyne, chester)
    Ozil arnie townsend michu (barkley)
    aguero suarez lukaku.
I have 2.4 in the bank still not set on my transfer in for michu. Coutinho, oscar or hazard. Will prob go with coutinho. Im then doing davis to pantimilon next week.Happy with my team bar midfield havent been getting any points of late.
Im also easing off on points hits and chasing value It doesnt seem important so far. I said yesterday Ive had atleast 2 mil in the bank since Gw 4.
It seems your team is in good shape. Barkley as you mention if he could be upgraded to silva/walcott in time.
An option would be mig to pantimilon and zab to toure(in a couple of weeks if it looks like they are holding their positions) to save you money to finance that move. As thats the only minor issue thats facing you, Id say you should be very happy with your team.

Havent had a good week in about 2 months with more Red arrows than the RAF.

    Team is below:

    Mignolet - (Davis)
    Coleman-Zabelta-Fonte-Terry - (Turner - Cardiff)
    Townsend - Ozil - Oscar - (Whittingham) - (Nolan)
    Lukaku-Giroud-Sturrdige

    Thoughts/Plans/Ideas/Help!!

    Boruc Davis
    Terry Coleman Dawson Shaw Faye
    Yaya Ramsey Hazard Barkley Brady
    Aguero Suarez Giroud

1.6m in the bank. Thinking of bringing in Cabaye for Brady or Barkley.
(or maybe Remy for Giroud...newcastle seem to have a nice run coming up)
Have to get rid of some of the Southampton boys as well to get in Ward-Prowse to free up more funds!!

Torres bandwagon has crashed. Hitching a lift back into town with Loic Remy now.

Stock up on light bulbs because I ain't going anywhere!

Plenty of rational thought like your own went into my reasoning for not bringing him in until recently.
But...I cracked when he was rested and came on...well I lie, I was jumping with delight when he came on, I was hoping for a sweet little one pointer...
I am happy to say I have moved onto the next stage, rational thoughts are a thing of the past.
He isn't coming in this year, next year, never.
That is just the way it is now.

Not far off being a very good team. First move I'd make would be to downgrade to nolan to someone like brady, janujaz or morrison (depending on funds) to make funds to upgrade giroud to aguero.

You've a good defense. Long run you could look at replacing mignolet because liverpool aren't keeping many cleansheets, but they have decent fixtures so maybe leave it a few weeks.

Suarez would be a better option than sturridge but hard to see how you would make funds for that switch. Have you much in the bank? Maybe downgrade ozil to ramsey? Or townsend to morrison? Depends also on whether you have 2 ft and whether you're willing to take points hits.

Tl;dr if it was me this week I'd do aguero and brady in for nolan and giroud. The following week I'd do Suarez and morrison in for sturridge and townsend. Wouldn't be gone on townsend myself. All depends on funds available too.

I'm thinking of moving Barkley out, but I might give him one more GW since Everton are playing Palace. He's usually my first sub, so not a major priority - but I'm starting to think he's too expensive to have as a sub most GWs, and if I downgrade him I could use the cash elsewhere. But at the same time I'm not sure if I should be weakening my bench with the hectic winter period on the horizon.

Liverpool did a deal to put him on a private plane after the game this weekend. Suarez will play.

Michu -> Hazard after Chelsea's game tonight

Could just as easily have gone for Oscar or Silva. I am not thrilled about Mourinho and Chelsea attack play in general, but fixtures are great and they should go very attacking this GW after disappointing result vs Newcastle.

I have the cash for Ozil, Toure but both of these are overvalued imo, I would have Ozil 9-9.5m and Toure 8-8.5.

Keeping cash for possible Lukaku upgrade in near future, Rooney+Benteke on radar.

Michu has been a huge disappointment (yet again for me:(). The fixtures looked so good. But when I watched Swans at home to St. Gallen I got worried. I know they had a good 4-0 win but there is something not clicking when they get to final third. They also have lost the fizz in their play, could be like Newcastle last year, fatigue in a weakish squad.

Speaking of not clicking in attack, Spurs have scored a shocking 13 goals in 10 PL games. It's funny as they have good possession + shot count.

Looks like a lack of gelling with a lot of new players. This inevitably ends with poor shot selection (Townsend+Paulinho chief culprits). Soldado has a very low #shots, it seems they are not working ball into him with patience (eg Man City). A functioning playmaker (Eriksson!?) who demands ball should solve this.

I have Townsend who shoots for fun, but how effective will he be when a lot of shots seem to be blazed over the bar from long range? (just from motd, I havn't seen a single spurs game this year)

From the very first game of the season Soldado has been too isolated for me up top on his own. He's not getting enough support from midfield.

I saw somewhere a similar deal is being worked out for another Uruguay player somewhere in Europe. Can't find who now but did find this :D
Ibrahimovic was asked if he preferred RvP & Rooney or
    Suarez
& Sturridge, his reply was: "Who is Sturridge?"

Seems like Oscar and Hazard are back in business for many players. I hope the special one won't ruin our strategy.

The michu sales have slowed thank god :-) I'm gonna wait till next gw to sell him now either way. Not worth 4 points with uncertainty over my Chelsea targets. And who knows michu may even play......it was only a twisted ankle .....
