Force calculations for channel iron

    Folks,
    Can anybody tell me what force the channel section shown could take before breaking or bending past its yield point.

    The ends are welded fixed and the bending force is applied through a welded bracket in the middle.
    Assume that the welds wont break and dont weaken the channel.

    Channel section is 76mm x 38mm and length is 1240mm
