24hr library

    could someone please give me some detailed instructions on how to get to the 24hr reading room, i am inept when it comes to directions so the more help the better.

    is it that door as well? i think i have walked past it once and there was loads of computers in there is there desks just for studying swell

    Yea that's the door there. You walk through the 24 hour computer room to get to the reading room!

    thanks so much, final question, is that a swipe card on the side of the door, so there is no guard? am i right? this is the last thing i will pester you with promise

    Haha don't worry. Yep you have to swipe your college ID to get in

    Worth noting that the card reader thing there is slightly different to other ones round college -it wont just detect your card you have to hold the bar code up to it.

    Spent about five minutes waving my card at it like an idiot once before I figured that out

    Eh? I just figured you have to hold your card against the keypad rather than that ~.

    Guys, I've a question.

    So here I am in the 24 Hour Library on a Saturday evening (and it's uncomfortably full), but are there any toilet facilities on campus which are open at this time? Arts Block is closed but I think Hamilton is open 24/7 by card access?

    Basically where do people go for a pee during an all-night study session? :P

    Toilets in the Berkeley library. They can be accessed via the door at the top of the ramp on the cricket pitch side of the library.
