    Hey I was thinking of taking up learning c++ as bit of hobby and was just hoping you guys might be kind enough to recommend a good book for me to get started with! I have a bit of programming experience from college but none with c++ so i would rather a book for beginners but not one that talks to me like I am a seven year old...

    Truthfully though I would welcome all reccomendations as I am a total beginner.
