Will OS X Mavericks work on college network?

IS Services say OS X Mavericks is not currently supported... http://blogs.tcd.ie/isservices/2013/10/14/support-for-mac-os-x-mavericks-os-x-10-9/ But, I'm guessing that it will work regardless if my laptop is already set up with the networks? Just double checking?

I updated to Mavericks and WiFi is working no problem now. Coincidentally, the WiFi was down across the network early this morning, and I had a mini panic attack. All's well now, though.
