What an inspiring story that was about the homeless man. Credit to the young reporter that conducted that report.

Pat has come a long way from the MLOD days. A breath of fresh air.

Five kids with Disabilities. No job. What an irresponsible parasite.

Was listening to this in astonishment! I can understand having a second kid with disabilities, but going on and having 3 more, all with disabilities also, is beyond belief. I abhorr the sense of entitlement spouted from this women. No gratitude for the assistance that she has received to date.

In all seriousness, anyone who rolls the Dice five times must have a mental incapacity themself.

I would hate to inflict a life of disability on any child but to inflict it on 5 is just beyond belief. How can anyone be that cruel and uncaring?

Thank you, Pat, for reminding me that I. Hate. Jazz. with a passion. Aural sludge accompanied by musical masturbation.

I don't find the fact that ROG's kids are having a tough time adjusting to life in France particularly funny...

How wonderful to have an outlet for you to make announcements about your likes and dislikes! How marvellous for you.

Welcome to boards.ie, and I am flattered to have inspired you to make a new account and be the subject of your first post. I shall note the date as a personal red-letter day in my boards posting career.
Oddly enough, what I did is precisely what forums like this one is for. Feel free to make more equally weighty pronouncements in other forums too.

Thats it. Make lots more announcements abouy what you feel ( in this case flattered) and what you "shall note" and that this is a "personal red-letter day" for you. If you really think, as you claim "is precisely what forums like this one is for", that a forum on Pat Kenny is designed to enable you to make lots of exciting announcements about yourself, then that tell us more about yourself than, perhaps, you meant to reveal.

You are of course correct. THIS is what is rong with the internet. People expressing opinions. Down with this sort of thing.

Wow, again you seem to like making announcements about what yourself and what you are going to do, or as you put it "we".

I thought this was a thread about the Pat Kenny Show, and not about individuals making announcements about their own domestic arrangements.

You're (allegedly) new here, so I'll spell it out for you. What you "just don't get" that is in *this* forum, during the broadcast of the PK show, posters here sometimes give their opinion on whatever segment is being broadcast at the time. Those reading the forum at the same time as listening to the show will get the context, someone coming across the thread at random might get confused, but quite frankly that is their problem and no one else's, it's like earwigging on a conversation and breaking in with a nonsensical non sequitur.

In the case above I quipped that I don't like jazz *during a segment on jazz*, perhaps wanting to prompt a discussion about it, or perhaps no one would comment, it's all the same with me, just the way I roll. What I didn't expect was a smart-ass, personally-directed comment from a first-time poster (on this account, at least) from out of the blue.

It's a little ironic that the other poster asks if you like to make announcements about yourself based on a previous post, and your response is to make a lot more announcements about yourself. :D
