is Eircom line rental compulsory?

    my family dont have broadband and are getting rid of house phone as cant afford it.... will we still have to pay line rental to eircom even if we're not using it?

    If you no longer require the phone, then the landline goes too. It's not compulsory unless you have a tenant agreement that states you must keep it.

    If you're still in contract to eircom, you will probably be charged an early exit fee.

    No just have a rolling bill thing old school eircom

    If you want to speak to the eircom save team by calling 1901 - enter your telephone number - select option 4 - option 4 (again) they can look into all the options available to try and retain your custom.
