Thats a 99 though, I'd say it would affect the price dropping down 2 more years

You're missing a trick too. Don't forget to apply for the VRT export refund :D

Don't they claim the first 500 and the car must have an omsp of over 2k or something. Can't see getting much back

Every few hundred count in bangernomics :D

OMSP - to be debated but I don't think they will put it as low as 2k. Even if they did, the refund would be 36% * 2k - €500 = €220

Revenue site enquiry gives OMSP as €2779 so a refund of €500.

    I stand for correction though..

Don't know where they get their OMSP, this is the first one I've seen ever under 3k

Can't believe the value there! I'm genuinely annoyed I don't have 2k to buy it.

What are the chances it has a big suspension overhaul needed or something similar?

I really hope someone here buys it

Its probably fair to say that this is likely as cheap as you'll ever buy this car. In true bangernomics fashion, this car will probably sell for more than the purchase price. Infact if you keep it long enough you'll probably make a mighty return on it.

Second one of these that I've seen in a couple of days. I would have thought they were rare enough. A lot of metal for the money.

Is that jag really bangernomics though. Don't get me wrong it's a very nice car but it has very little nct left and could have any number of thing wrong with it.

    Don't be a spoilsport.
It ticks the three rules and even gives tax.

There has been lesser cars with a similar amount of NCT in this thread so far so I think it's definitely bangernomics

It fits the criteria. I see no reason why it shouldn't be here, unless there is some glaring fault or someone actually goes and views it to tell us all

Well we don't know. The suspension could be shot, the engine might be original and have the Nikasil issue or the autobox might be on the way out. If any one of these is true, the car is scrap

But as long as we don't know, we have to presume it's good! Can someone go have a looksie and report back, please :)

No im not being a spoilsport:pac: The car is very nice and the tax is a welcome bonus.:)

It's just that the nct is within the three months early testing period. Im just wondering why the seller hasn't got a fresh test on it.

I know the car fits the criteria as is but my point is, come a few months time when it comes time to nct it how much will it end up costing to pass it.

By no means an S Class or Legend, but if you're looking for cheap and relatively hassle free driving then look no further than these two bad boys.

Both with NCT way into next year and for €350. They're kind of cool too if you like auto****e.

You could say that about any car though that's in bangernomics.
Any car that's bought for bangernomics money needs to be gone over with a fine tooth comb. Sure 90%of the cars posted here could be rust buckets. Bangers yes, economics no.

Until it's been inspected though we can't tell other than it ticks the requirements.
