Getting a safety statement for new sole trader

Just been told by insurance company that I need a safety statement. Do I have to write one myself or do a course for one? Im a self employed carpenter

Her's a Template available from WWW.erb.ie

http://www.erb.ie/Resources/Documents/Sample_Health_Safety.pdf

Run it by the Insc Co. and see if its acceptable
