Tutorials vs Lectures

Sorry if this has been posted already! Attendance is counted as part of my end of year grade and I was wondering if tutorials are a part of that? Are they ''mandatory'' because I got conflicting statements from two different lecturers and was wondering what is the official DIT view on it. Cheers :)

It's different for every course really, if you contact the head of your course you should get a definitive answer.
