App Store now supports legacy versions of iOS Apps

My friend wants to download Viber to his old iPhone 3G, running iOS 4.2.1

Apple says he can now download earlier versions of apps.

Anyone know if Viber going to offer this service ? We tried to download an older version but were not given an option to do so.

It depends on the developer. It's up to them to decide which version of the app is available. It could cause problems if Apple offers older versions which effect servers etc.
