Was looking into the long life ones, especially as they're auto on lights which are nearly on the entire time.

H7s are expensive things though :(

Got some for the mothers i30 there last week, worked around €18 on trade card, think they're €25 retail

Standard ones lasted her 6 weeks, got 13 months out of these. 17 inch wheels, lowered suspension and potholes are a bad combination.

Looks like I've to get another car to polish. Deposit taken and it's going on Sunday. Now I need to decide what I want and how much I want to spend. A friend suggested I try find a good clean 406 HDI Rapier. My family suggested I buy a new car as everything else I touch seems to fall apart. I'm currently open to suggestions.

Perodua Myvi - it'll send you back to loving all the cars which have caused you grief in the past.

I'd say you have a bad earth somewhere, although they do have a fault on the light switch/ indicator cluster. Your lights could be flicking on when you indicate.
But in 4 yrs with a c5 mine was not hard on bulbs.

My suspension issues appear to be from the rear, I'm getting what I can only describe as a triple fart on the nearside when I turn all day today:(

    Expecting a rather bad result.

    Where are you off to?
I love driving at night, or during big matches on a sunny day.

can get a very good deal on 2 new rear tyres but the size is 255/40/18 as opposed to 255/35/18 which is there atm, will this matter really?

Tyre wall will be 12.75mm taller. If your rims and arches can handle that I'd take them. More comfort too. ;)
