    Went for Rooney last week ... ok but he's no Sturridge or Lukaku! Thinking about putting Giroud out to pasture and bring in Sturridge as I have the funds for an upgrade ...

    Ive neither. Of the pool frontmen.

    Any ideas between roo, giroud lukaku is a non runner I think. Also have ozil and ramsey to get working

    I think this is actually the first time I've read the posts in a 'GW Captain' thread. Usually a quick glance at the poll is enough for me to decide.

    Suarez or Sturridge for me as I have both. Leaning towards Suarez given the fact that he is getting a lot more shots off than Sturridge since returning. A Suarez hattrick with 3 Sturridge assists will do nicely :)

    I remember last year I captained Walcott home to Newcastle

    3 goals, 2 assists, man of the match

    He single handed my got me something like 58 points

    The stuff dreams are made of

    Cleared 120 points that week

    If you want a really left field candidate this week I'd go for Aluko or Odemwingie...but this is not the week. Suarez or Studge just make far too much sense.
